| Life right now, though I have to add, is very fun. Late night talks with people I care about. Weekend hangouts. Lots of red faces...I wonder WHY. And ALOT of laughing, something one can never have enough of. I hope things never change
so despite the insane amount of stress in just the first week, everything is great! minna ganbatte! And I hope to hang out with some people I haven't seen in a while! because I do miss you all ;)

| Ever since I was little, I've wanted to save the world. From the first time that I picked up the book of fairy tales from around the world, I didn't just want the prince to come save me. I wanted to visit Baba Yaga in the hut perched on chicken claws and the fence made of skulls. I wanted to fly with winged feet and cut off the gorgon's head. I wanted to help nutcrackers battle rats and destroy cauldrons. I dreamed about hobbits and rings. Treasures? maybe. Dragons and potions? definitely. I wanted to be part of it all: the adventure, the rush, the idea that life is about something big. Something more than just me or you. That life has a noble purpose was so thrilling. And I would lie awake at night...scheming? Maybe one day I'll wake up in a green forest and find elves. Maybe I'll stumble across some wrinkle...in time  ! Maybe I'll be able to become a DNA absorbing warrior!
There has to be more to life than just you and me.
I'm going to think that way from now on.
