Hey all!
I know, it's been a very long time since I've had time to visit. In fact, I've only been here once!
So, here's what's going on with me. Some of you know that I recently had a laporscopic surgery, also known as exploritory surgery. Anyway, my doctor found that I had phase two endometriosis. He was able to remove it all the day of surgery. Although it's gone for now, it has the potential fro growing back.
Endometriosis is an ongoing problem. Endometrial tissue can break off, attach itself, and then grow in the pelvic region. Sometimes, endometriosis can spread to other areas of the body, but this is usaually a rare case.
So, how am I handling this? Hmm, I'm not quite sure yet. It's a bit of a shock, but at the same time I'm not suprised because of all of the pain I was having. Right now, I'm trying to recover, and trying to focus on what God has planned through all of this.
It's hard to think that I may have to live with an abnormality for the rest of my life. Somehow though, I believe there is something to be learned here, maybe many things.
I would appreciate your prayers, and of course I love e-mails. I promise to e-mail you back! Try this e-mail, it's the one that works the best for me. C_Rae1830@hotmail.com
By the way, I'd like to say to my dear husband.....
You are more of a blessing in my life than I could have ever imagined. Thank-you for your kindness, your support, and your cheery attitude. As, I've gone through all my doctors visits, sickness, and now surgery, you've been nothing but encouraging. You've been at my side, loving me like you do, and I thank-you. You've helped me to see a future that I never knew I had. Love, your chica{V}
To my friends: Now that you've had to read through all of that mush, I love you all too!!! Thanks so much for your support and friendship. I hope to see you all very soon;) |
