Please DO NOT fall on the ground and pass out...but this is a new entry...by Lauryn Carter. Hmmm...I don't really have much to say besides that everything is going pretty swell! I was sick for about two weeks until sometime last week and I randomly woke up one morning and felt ten times better! Praise God for that! I thought I was going to be sick for the rest of my life. My dad, Steve, was bitten by a python about a week ago. He's a Biology teacher in case you didn't know. He's fine though...crazy dad! Anyway, well, I'm gonna get crackin' on some homework! Fun fun. Have a nice day everyone!

AH...I don't know who the person was that left the super long message on my last entry, but it's insane.  To Dave H:  American made cars are a piece of junk and my pirate eye patch and gear are all dusted off and ready for Pirates of the Carribean II.  To Eric: Quit blaming me for things I didn't do.  To Jenna:  Yeah... the Matt B 36-year-old guy thing...just plain creepy.

I'm watching Rocketman with Matt Bryan at my grandma's house right now.  Good movie...good times.  Well, if anyone is going to see a movie soon and is calling up random people to go...GIVE ME A CALL!!!  I want to see another movie.  X MEN III was awesome!

Well, have a Happy Memorial Day everyone.  I'm leaving for Chicago on Wednesday at about 6pm, so if you know my number, give me a call because I will be SUPER bored for four hours on the road alone.  If you don't know my number, call someone who does.  Then, call me to say hi.  I'm serious.  Talk to you later...*wink, wink, nudge, nudge*

FUNERAL OF MY CAR

So, I'm getting really tired(and I know you are too) of hearing that my car is good one day and bad the next.  Let me just tell you...I OFFICIALLY HATE MY CAR!  Yeah...it's the transmission and as soon as it's replaced, I'm trading it in.  American made cars stink and I'm sure a lot of people will say, "Lauryn, I have an American made car and I love it."  You know what I have to say to that?  Well, good for you!  I'm glad you love your car but one day when you're least expecting it, it's going to say a lot of weird noises and then it will say, "I'm not going to work for you anymore because I was made in America, which means that I was made with the worst car parts possible."  Enough of this...

I went to Agape this past weekend and it rocked!  I got to see old friends and spend time with new friends.  Good times.  Christina...we tell good stories too.  Actually, I think we have the best stories...because they all have the same ending and that ending is a happy one called #9!  Anyway, word to "Homeslice" even though he ate all of the large Reese's Peanut Butter cups.  I'm out...

I had a choir concert in Vandalia over the weekend...good times.  I tried to eat the largest sandwich I have ever seen in my life at this Italian place called Cunetto's, but didn't make it by about 3 bites!  It amazes me how much their Wal-Mart resembles Salem's Wal-Mart too!  The only difference is that they have awesome wood floors where the clothing departments are located!  On the drive home, this flashing light came on.  It was an exclamation mark with a circle around it.  I started to get a little worried, so it's in the shop now.  Thank you Jacob C for meeting me at the shop this morning and taking me to school.  Even though you're a dork, you're the good kind.

Anyway, I played Frisbee last night.  Rachael B. and I also told Matt and Dusty stories while sitting in the middle of the outfield of the baseball field in the park.  They were good times.  It involved a raccoon man...whatever that is...and a raccoon.  the man told the raccoon that he was going to make him into a hat, so he killed it.  Then, Rachael made the raccoon come alive again and the raccoon ran off with his raccoon friends.  It was a good story...you should have been there.

Well, I'm going to get off of the computer now.  Have a great day kids...

Since my last entry:

~ I have my car back.  It's running smoothly.  That's a plus.

~I have started jogging with Dusty and Rachael B at night.  We have good times.

~I decided that I'm going to IYCM camp in Carlinville as a counselor.  I also found out that my entire family is going to Disney World in July.  I never get to see them so that makes me extremely happy.

~I hit a dead deer.  It was nighttime and I couldn't see it until it was right in front of my car.  It made a really loud sound and scared the crap out of me.

~I realized that I hate shopping with a passion.  Ok, not all shopping, but most shopping.

~I realized for the billionth time that my G-Ma Q-Tip is amazing.

I think that's all for now.  I hope everyone had an AWESOME Easter Sunday!  I know I did.  My parents bought me an archeological Bible that tells extra facts about the history of the Bible and tells what things were like in the Roman days.  It's pretty awesome.  Then, of course, I got chocolate which I took to my Sunday School class and shared with the kiddies.  I really tried to get it into their brains that Easter isn't all about hunting eggs and candy.  It's about Jesus dying on the cross so that we can be forgiven of our sins.  I was really happy because it seemed like they grasped the discussion well.  Hopefully, it's permanently stuck into thier minds.

Well, I'm going to get off of xanga now.  Have a great day!
