When I Say I am a Christian
Author Unknown
When I say..."I am a Christian"
I'm not shouting "I am saved."
I'm whispering "I was lost!"
That is why I chose this way.
When I say..."I am a Christian"
I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble
and need someone to be my guide.
When I say..."I am a Christian"
I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak
and pray for strength to carry on.
When I say..."I am a Christian"
I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed
and cannot ever pay the debt.
When I say..."I am a Christian"
I'm not claiming to be perfect,
my flaws are all too visible
but God believes I'm worth it.
When I say..."I am a Christian"
I still feel the sting of pain
I have my share of heartaches
which is why I seek His name.
When I say..."I am a Christian"
I do not wish to judge.
I have no authority.
I only know I'm loved.

Not everything is as it seems.
Yes, we have heard that time and time again, but we never take it to heart. One day you are going to wake up and realize the simple truth behind that statement and forget and forgive all that has happened.
The simple truth us thus: just trust GOD for He will provide, He will bring a happy ending to the drama we all live. Believe, and it shall be. Trust, and it will be yours. He might tell us to wait, but He rarely tells us no. If one has patience and is strong of heart, nothing can stand in ones way. There is so much more to life than listing all of the horrendous deeds that get thrown our way.
"The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?" Psalm 118:6
"Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me." John 14:1
Just simply have faith. There is so much commotion going on that one must have faith that the Lord will provide and I know this first hand. Just trust. It's hard to have faith when living in a faithless world. But we need to have faith. For if we don't, who will show the glory of the Father to others?
Not everything is as it seems.
