Valentines Weekend

This was Sam and my's second Valentines together...last year we didn't get to spend it together because of classes but this year it was not an option, we were going to be together no matter what.

Well I had to work on thursday from 8am to 2pm and he had to work 3-5 so it worked out good, because when I made it to Columbus he was getting off work. I've never realized how boring it is to make the drive to C-bus by yourself...But I got there and I was even a little early!

As soon as he got done with work he was like lets open our gifts, so we went upstairs and exchanged gifts...He got me a cute white bear wearing a red t-shirt that says "Someone at Ohio State loves me" and he also got me a book that is full of pictures of dogs (I really love dogs...all kinds) and some of them are dressed up and some are not but there is love quotes throughout the whole book...After that we decided to go eat...we didn't make reservations so we were just hoping we could get in. We were going to get real dressed up but we changed our minds so I thought of a way to looked casual but dressy...and if I do say so my self we looked pretty hott! So we went to this place called BD's and we got the last table! Dinner was really good and when we thought we couldn't eat anymore we got an amazing dessert...After dinner we headed back to the dorm for a while...we had plans to go to some friends place and have dessert with them...So when Abe called we headed to his apartment to hang with him and his girl, eat chocolate fondue with strawberries, bananas, and apples and watch "The Notebook." Then we headed to my best friends apartment to stay the night. That was a lot of fun too...she and I did some wedding talking while Sam pretended not to hear me...he wants to see the dress that I want but I told him he isn't allowed...(p.s. were not engaged...yet...) Then it was time for sleep!

The next day we got up, headed back to his dorm to get ready for the day...We went out to lunch at Don Pablo's...which was good and then did a little shopping...then it was time for some cuddling before I headed back home...

I really hate leaving him, or when he is down here and leaves to go back to C-bus...but we don't have too much more school so thats good!

I hope everyone else had a wonderful Valentines as well!!!

I LOVE YOU SAM!!!!!

December/January

Let me recap the past month or so for all of you who actually take the time to read my updates…

December was stressful to say the least…I had finals, nursing ones in particular that I was worried about but they all turned out well. On top of finals there is the stress of buying gifts for everyone and when you’re a college student trying to pay for your own college money is tight sometimes. And then there was the fact that this is the first Christmas without my grandpa (he passed January 4, 2007) so this time of year was really hard for me but I have an amazing boyfriend who let me cry on his shoulder whenever I needed to. Oh and I had applied for a new job (I’m still going to work at UIS) at SOMC, it was a Nurse Resident position (I can do pretty much everything but pass meds and start IV’s) and I had an interview but it took them for ever to get back with me…But I got the job so that took a little stress away. Christmas was a lot of fun, all 5 or 6 of them…no joke…Our Christmas started on the 22nd at my Aunt and Uncles house in Williamsport, Oh. They got me a really sweet OSU lamp and my aunt Jenny was like I tried to get you something that Sam and you would like for your house when you guys get married (no were not engaged…yet…but we are planning on it). It was really exciting to hear my mom and aunt talk about Sam and I getting married. Then on the 24th I had three Christmas’ to go to, the first was at my house with my oldest brother Jeff and his girlfriend and her two kids, then one at my grandmas and then I went to Sam’s granny’s. Sam’s uncle made me a rolling pin, he made it himself and I was so happy when I saw my gift (for those of you who don’t know me that well…I love baking/cooking). Of course the 25th we had Christmas again, at my house with my parents and other brother and then later that day Sam came out to my house for Christmas. My parents got Sam and I tickets to go see “The Producers” (the off Broadway) and my mom got me a DVD player something else for our house… My favorite gift of all was from Sam, he made me a CD of love songs…and for each song he wrote and explanation of what the song means to him or how it relates to our relationship/future. Then he took my favorite pictures of the both of us over the past 1 year and 3 months and made a DVD with music in the background. I was holding back the tears; it was the sweetest/most thoughtful gift I have ever received. When I opened it he told me “this way when I’m at OSU you will always have me with you” so my mom was like can we watch the DVD…so Sam, me, mom, and dad watched it and it made my mom cry…I love you Samuel, you are the love of my life!!!!

So as you can see Christmas was fairly good! Then it was time for the New Years. For New Years Sam and I go to his Aunt Willa and Uncle Kelly’s house, we eat lots of food and watch movies and spend the night there. This year we watched Flushed Away and Cars…we got a late start this year…then we watched the ball drop and I kissed my sweetie and he kissed me and shortly after we were asleep. New Years was great, mainly because it was another one spent with Sam and I know that 2008 is going to be even better than 2007!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas/New Years!

One final down...and 2 more to go...possibly only one!

Just a quick update: I'm trying not to stress but it happens! The main thing right now is the fact that I have a job interview tomorrow and I'm hoping I get it...so if you all are praying people please send up a prayer for me! If I get the job I will post more later about it so you all know what I will be doing!

Oh yeah, I have the most amazing boyfriend in the world! I love him so much...and I'm real excited about things to come in our future! I love you Samuel Owen Cole!

Well if I don't up date before Christmas let me just say this now! I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and A wonderful and safe New Years!

LOVE

For those of you who don't know...I am so in love with Samuel Cole...He is my world, my everything!

Thanksgiving break was much needed for me...I was really starting to get stressed with nursing and when that happens its not fun for anyone. I started my break a little early, I technically wasn't done until wednesday around 5 pm but I started my break on Tuesday around noon. I skipped my Social Work class (didn't have Theater) and headed to Columbus to pick up my man! The drive was rather boring...I didn't realize how boring it can get on just a 2 hour drive, plus I had to actually do the speed limit because the cops were out like crazy...But I finally got to my mans dorm. So he comes down with one load of things and he was like I need some help carrying stuff down, so I went up to his dorm and he was like grab those newspapers for me...and under the papers was a box of chocolates...and he was like open them, so I did and he wrote me a poem and put it in the box. It was so sweet and I almost cried a little! Then he drove home so I could rest because before I left to come get him I spent 4 hours in nursing lab so I was tired and I was up really late the night before worrying my head off! But we finally make it back home and just chilled at his house with his family.

The next day I just had to work so that wasn't too bad, they didn't make us have clinicals so that was a plus! And after work Sam met up with me and we spent the evening at my house after stoping to rent some movies...So we pretty much just laid around watching movies/tv and got some much needed cuddling and some wrestling/tickle fight.

Then it was Thanksgiving #1, so I got up pretty early and headed to Sam's house for Thanksgiving... Dinner was great and spending time with his family is also great...We made some more turkeys to hang on the door...and yes Ramburkey was awesome and everyone should be afraid of him! Then we laid around watching football and ate some more food. Oh yeah we watched "Flushed Away" very cute movie! Ahhhh!!!! A little later Sam was like "do you want to go for a drive?" so we did and we told each other what we are thankful for and it was really sweet!

Time for Thanksgiving #2, My house! Sam came out probably around 12 or so...and my brother Jeff and his girlfriend and her kids got out to my house around 2 and then we ate another big dinner! Then laid around and talked, watched more football...at one point I think Sam and I scared everyone else in the house...we were watching football and it was 4th and 10 and everyone was talking and not watching the game and all of the sudden he and I both threw our hands in the air and scream! Everyone stopped talking and looked at us like we were crazy...But the day was good, I hadn't seen my bro in a while so it was good to talk to him!

Thanksgiving #3...So I'm really sick of turkey...lol. Good thing there was ham at this one...So we went to Sam's aunt and uncles house, I got to meet some more of his family and you guessed it..we watched more football! Then it was back to my house...Where he totally kicked my butt in a tickle fight...and no one would come and help me....so yes I am saying it Sam...You won!

Sunday was also good! I went to church...talked with some friends...and then headed to Sam's house. We watched the Browns win! GO BROWNS!!! And just had some one on one time...cuddled...and talked...listened to music...and just enjoyed each others company! Then it was time to say good bye...I really hate it when he has to go back to OSU...it sucks real bad! So we stood out side in the rain...and kissed in the rain...and I didn't want to let go! It will be about 10 days till I get to see him, but then he will be home for christmas!

I am so blessed! I have a wonderful family, an amazing boyfriend, great friends and a God who is always by my side! These are the things that I'm truly thankful for! I love you Sam and cant wait to see what our future holds!

Im tired...but happy!

So this weekend was really fun but really tiring...My baby (Sam) came home on thursday so needless to say my classes seemed like they took for ever...mainly because I wanted to see him! So after class I went to his house and hung out with him and his family...then after dinner he took me to Dariy Queen and we got some ice cream and took a little drive...it was so nice! Friday was busy as well....I got up and studied for nursing, cleaned the house a little and then Sam came and picked me up...It was his sister Livi's 16th birthday so he and I took her and some of her friends out to dinner...our treat and then we took Liv to the football game...then we hung out at his house for a while before going back to my house...Then on Saturday we had a get together at Sam's Aunt and Uncles house so we went there for a while and then it was off to the Halloween Dance...I was a flapper and he was my gangster...so we danced the night away and then headed back to my house...stayed up and talked then finally went to sleep...its nice to have an extra bed in the house now...so my baby can stay over...then we got up and went to church and then had a big dinner at his house and a little celebration for Livi...and packed everything back up so he could go back to OSU...

I really hate the fact that OSU is over 2 hours away from my house...and that he and I are so far apart...I love him so much and cant wait for us to be done with our undergrad schooling...Well that was just an over view of the weekend! I love you Sam and I miss you already!
