On Sunday, I hosted a xmas/Steph's farewell party at my place..The menu was inspired by our theme: a traditional 聖誕聯歡會. Look at all the food! we made everything except the sushis.. (and the dishes were half emptied when we remembered to take pictures..)

everything

Spinach dip

金菇牛肉卷

咖哩魚蛋

Deviled eggs

炒米粉

鹵水雞翼

Hor D'oeuvres (Salmon cream cheese)

Sushi from Nijiya

Last but definitely not least....bread and butter pudding!

Happy Monday

So. Finally something that motivates me to update my xanga. Life have not been too exciting here. I watched Bourne Ultimatum yesterday, by myself, as usual. It's good! I wish there was more Julia Stiles.

Today, it's Monday, it's supposed to be bad. But weekly meeting with Mr L. turned out to be relaxing, just talked about career in general. And then I met Ms. E. We talked 15 minutes work, and then the next thing I know is we're planning for our outlet trip together! Ms. E is the only BS in the group (our department usually hire only MS and PhD...she must be damn smart) and she's same class, same age, same major as me. We share a lot of similar thoughts, including, 'what's wrong with wanting to be a housewife?'  So I hope I'll get to hang out with her more, and maybe have a chance to play some golf with her girlfriends who also play. This puts me in such a good mood, this has to be the best Monday since I've been here! I finally found someone I can talk to without generation gap or too much cultural difference.
