So, what have I been doing recently?
Well, for starters, I spent the weekend putting this video together.
This is the children's program for the Teaching Parents' Association. It's a weekend-long homemade version of the children's institute (pretty much), the one that Randy, Eunice, Melissa and Shiopei came down to Wichita to work at. I was charged with chasing kids around with a camera and putting it all together into a memorable package for the parents to watch at the end and for the staff to keep.
For those of you who've worked with me in video, here are the nitty-gritty details: I used After-effects Windows Movie Maker on the Alien-baby. Why Windows Movie Maker? Well, after 3 years, I still don't have a decent editing program on my laptop, and I didn't want to head to the university to do my editing. This is the first time I had used WMM, and the last. It'd be great for home use, I'll give it that.
Oh yeah... and something that seems to be a theme in my videos, can you detect where the music was spliced together? I've been told I'm rather skilled at that. Give it a listen. It's spliced twice.
