note taking

When I study, I have to take notes.
If I don't, I feel I'm not able to retain anything.

Studying for my CFA level 2 exam thats coming up in 11 days, I'm about to start my 6th yellow notepad.
I have a feeling this weird habit of mine is what is slowing down my progress.
But then again, distractions such as this entry also seems to call out to me to procrastinate.

I also have this fear that one day I'll wake up and lose my memory.
And the only way for me to regain these lost knowledge/memories is by reading stuff I've written myself.

its the simple stuff in life

simple pleasures:
- smell of fresh cut grass in the spring/summer
- crunch of fall foliage below your feet
- chill of catching a snow flake with your tongue
- watching swirls of cold milk and hot coffee attempting to reach equilibrium in a mug
