Halloween Highlights

Raymond & I dressed up as a pirate couple this year.  We were at Okuma in this photo. The weekend before Halloween when they held the 4th annual  Halloween festival.  Haunted log cabins and a few treats for the kidos..... time at the beach during the day!  Awesome!

Growing up in North Dakota usually meant SNOWSUIT under your costume!  But not here in Okinawa!

Jana, Qianna & Kaylee
Kaylee dressed as an Asian Princess.  I ordered a costume online for her, but when it arrived in the mail it was WAY to small.  My fabulous friend Sandy heard of this sad, sad story, and poof in a second was at the door with a homemade costume that was amazing. Sandy the handy DANDY seamstress to the rescue!  Thank you!

Ninja Justin & Kyle
This year was the first year Justin was aloud to Trick or Treat WITHOUT (AAAGGGGHHHH) Mom & Dad.  We lent him my cell phone, in case of an emergency. Went over the rout he would be going and said a prayer...LOL! Kyle went too and they both did a great job being responsible.  They returned safe and sound with about 10 pounds of candy each!!! LOL!

Sandy and baby Heath
Cutest baby around!

Super Aidin & Super Bradin
Braden is Kyle's little brother, but Justin treats him like family.  Aidin is Sandy's little one.  They had a great time too!

Lacie, Sandy & Carmon
Halloween was a real TREAT this year (ha-ha-ha)........ and I defiantly ate my share of candy.

Okuma Joint Recreational Resort and Camping

This weekend we took off to the northern area of Okinawa, and spent two nights at Okuma Resort. It is a beach/camping site for military families.

In December Ray changed offices and moved over to 18th Services as a resource advisor. It has some perks...
like the VIP cabin. Reserved for DV's only.

The kids always have a great time playing in the sand. I'm sure half of the beach made its way in to our cabin room, but at least they had fun, right!

Ray and I relaxed BBQing and breathing the ocean air. Aaahhh....time to relax and enjoy each others company.

The weather was nice. Not hot enough for a dip in the ocean but plenty warm enough for a stroll around the golf course and past the beach. Justin and Kaylee enjoyed taking the lead. We really had a blast!

I finally have a few moments to catch up on my site. We enjoyed our holiday break and now everything is getting back to normal. Here are a few things we did with our time off from work and school.

Party 2006
Ray & I attended his annual Christmas party for 18th CPTS. The dinner was nice. We enjoyed watching a few games the booster club put on. And we also won the grand prize raffle. A trip to Ie Island...more to come on that when we go!

This is Buster. A friend of mine took her holiday break back home in California, so we doggie sat for a couple weeks. He kept the kids entertained and was a reminder to me how much work a dog can be! What a cutie, huh?

Merry Christmas!
For quite some time Ray & I have been debating on getting a trampoline for the kids. My mom has one and they live on it when they are at her house. They love it! So do we! I'm sure there will be plenty more of these types of photos!

A night of lights....was another fun filled evening.

All in all our Christmas time together was great. We hope yours was too.....
