| us olympic teamwho else is watching the prelim games? are you as annoyed as i am at some of team usa's bitching? frickin lebron is like one of the worst! he's turned into regular season kobe almost!! and surprisingly kobe's shown pretty good sportsmanship. i like that. deron and cp3 are pretty annoying too. dwade looks good tho. his game, not his hair. altho he's been the most out of control w/ at least 3 super obvious charges. and his glaring at the refs is lame. seriously, even though i wanted to see us reassert our dominance, i'm now kinda hoping some other team beats the US just to show them they're not all that. and kamla should stick to doing the fantasy hoops show. i like the stupid stuff he says cuz he says it w/ such enthusiasm, but it's getting old how fraschilla keeps repeating the same stuff over n over. and what the hell was he saying about dwade's windmill alley oop from cp3 against lithuania? double?? is he frickin blind? it was barely a full windmill let alone a double. moron. i like how hard ak47 is playing. |

| duffythere're so many 'new' artists and whatnot coming out and i kinda dismissed Duffy along w/ a lot of the fluff out there, but staying late at work, i put on her album (Napster is a great value) and whoa! i like it a lot! you can feel a lot more feeling and life than you do with most albums out these days. good stuff. oh yeah and the warriors got marcus williams today. hope he lives up to his skill/talent level and doesn't try to sell anymore stolen laptops. and keep the TOs low too. |

i've had a bunch of one-line thoughts to put up here, but they were never important enough to bother with. it's been crazy busy and more stressful than i'd like to admit lately. exciting too though.
about the NBA playoffs this year, i still think 2006 was the best year ever. and personally, i find the fact that i'm pulling for the Lakers right now to be pretty disgusting. but eff Boston. except Leon Powe. he rocks.
seriously though, how much more exciting would it have been this year had the Warriors made it? huh? way more. they would have given the Lakeshow a run for their money for sure. then a rematch w/ Utah and who knows? we could have squeaked by them. anyway, hope the machine hits a bunch of 3s tonight.
