God, church, dancing to praise and music! well dancing in general has peaked my interest as of late. i like to read, i like school, i love to exercise though my self-discipline is waning. I draw when i have time which is never. music is awesome though i dont actually play an instrument. :) boys are sometimes fun. like i said, everything interests me.

| school has started, two tests down, prolly like 30 left...or something like that. i got a 92 and a 94 on my first two tests which is definitely a nice start. i got 37 hours this week at work and although i was a little tired, it wasnt that bad juggling work and school! yay for me and HEB.
went to ashleys goodbye party saturday night. :( im so glad i got to go. i always miss ash. i know we didnt really hang out over the summer, but thats mostly my fault. since i dont do a whole lot of exciting things, and i dont like to actually call people unless i have something to invite them to, i dont call. (this is not to say that i dont have a good time cause i do!) i dont figure people want to just hang out, so i never call. so for everyone who's reading this (since im so popular...lol)---im sorry if i ever dont call and we never hang out, im not a big fan of talking on the phone. youre more than welcome to call me if you feel neglected. lol. anyways, im proud of ashley for going to england, shes always talked about it and she just went and did it. very impressive!!

| wow. people are so amazing (with the exception of all the looters and amials raping and shooting people in the hurricane areas)!! i was really, really upset to hear about all the awful things that were happening over there, as if having entire cities wiped out and destroyed wasnt bad anough, people had to go and act like that. so, anyways, it was tearing me up, but i feel so much better now because ive seen a positive part of this whole tragedy.
HEB did a food drive yesterday at 4 locations, from 7-7, and the outpoor of donations and volunteering was so overwhelming, we opened up at another store, and we continued the drive for today and tomorrow!! at our store alone, we filled THREE big 18-wheelers full of everything in the world. It was so inspiring and moving to see people (esp. on our side of town) buying $500 worth of groceries and leaving them all out at the trucks. wow.
it really makes me feel better about the whole situation. God bless! Thanks to everyone for helping out!!!

| I just want to share with everyone about how tired I have been lately. Here's what the past three days have looked like for me. On Wednesday night I stayed up til 1 in the morning helping a friend from work with her calculus, then I had to wake up at f-in 3:20 to go to work at 4 IN THE MORNING!! (i did see my buddy there though and he said if he had known i was going to be there, he wouldve brought me breakfast. i told him i didnt know that was an option. so that was nice to see him). I worked from 4-8 am, then left and went straight to babysitting from 830-1. I went home, slept for like 2 hours, then went and kept score at mollys vball game till like 930 pm.
THEN i had to wake up at 7 the next morning for a dentist appt. and after that, i worked for 10 hours!!
Im kind of tired now, but i just wanted to share that. Adios!

| I went to go see March of the Penguins tonight and I just wanted to let everyone know that it was worth watching! I do not recommend going to see it in a drowsy state because I mean, they're penguins, it's not exactly a fast-paced movie, but if you happen to be alert-go for it! They get frustrated when they bump into eachother, they snuggle, they slide on their bellies, what more could you ask for? Also-Baby penguins are probably the cutest babies in the Animal Kingdom. Just so you know!

| so another beach to bay is over and i survived. i was in such better shape last year and i definitely think i overestimated myself this year :), but i still managed to get through it and although i did walk (i hate even saying it)-i made good time for me. now i have a sunburn across my shoulders and forehead and two ACHING hips (for why, i have no idea!) to show for it. it was a lot of fun... when you count out the waking up at 4:30, running in the hot sun, and being cranky. lol.
on a more random note, im not sure whether the fears of my father are entirely justified. i just went in to ask about using my card on the internet to buy something, an assumingly common thing that many MANY people do, and he told me i didnt need to use it. he was so pissed when he found out that booze and i had xangas because it was giving out our info and we just dont understand apparently. i guess because we dont listen to talk radio, we know nothing of identity theft or common sense. my poor podgey, i try to listen to him just so he wont be mad but honestly, i dont think it is all that big of a deal. (editors note: when my identity does get stolen, i dont want any of this thrown back in my face, thank you.)
i have an exciting day ahead of me tomorrow so i should prob get some sleep. ill be spending tons of money on lots of fun stuff like getting my oil changed and my car washed and paying for church camp. pretty tight right? :) goodnight to everyone. | | |
