| Apple PieI have a bag of apples from Aldi's that I have been wanting to make into an apple pie for over a week now. I finally put them in the refrigerator because I don't want them to go bad before I can make my apple pie (I LOVE apple pie).
So far this week we have gotten three days of school completed. My goal is four a week. School for my kindergartener consists mainly of math and reading with a little bit of everything else mixed in. Last week and this week we have been learning about Spiders--Black widows, Brown Recluses, Jumping Spiders, Funnel Weavers, Wolf Spiders, etc. I have to confess that it's not really a favorite topic of mine (shiver). But Logan loves learning about spiders. I also gave Job a lesson on how to hammer nails into a board. Both my boys loved that one!
I am working on a homeschooling/play room in my basement as well as organizing my whole basement. I am SO excited!!! I ordered curtains to hide the ugly wall in my homeschool room as well as to block off my laundry room and make it a separate space. Also, I found a huge entertainment center on the side of the road for free and it was in good condition! So I've painted it and am using it as a shelving unit in my homeschool room. I also bought a cabinet to store things that I don't necessarily want in line of site such as playdough and bubbles and other messy play toys that I don't want my kids constantly begging me to get out. I have a table that was given to us that I am using in the space, also, a chair and a book shelf. I hope to be able to get a stand up chalk board in the future. When we ordered our office furniture (a few years ago), the desk top came scratched so we had to order a new one. They let us keep the scratched desk top because they didn't want it. So I am going to screw legs in it and paint it with chalkboard paint to make a kiddie table. This I am also VERY excited about! I can NOT wait until it is done!
This morning I am feeling sick to my stomach most likely because I have a cold and a lot of drainage. Involved in this cold is a dry and scratchy throat along with a pretty good cough this morning. I'm not feeling so great right now.
Let's see, shall we have a little blurb about the pregnancy? My THIRD pregnancy?! I am now 2 days away from being 30 weeks. 10 more weeks to go! Baby girl seems to be doing very well. She is a swimmer! She's doing flips and everything in my womb. I've not had a baby before that moves around and kicks as strongly as she does. She's going to be one tough little girl! We don't have a name for her yet. We are working on it. Mike and I just can't seem to agree. I have been experiencing a lot of constipation and stomach pain lately. The stomach pain has been pretty severe. I can't figure out if it is related to the pregnancy or not. If it continues, I'm going to have to go to the doctor because I just can't handle it! It has been 9 days and it isn't gone.
Well, I need to go. My boys are vying for my attention, only they are not contending with each other but with my computer! They wish to show me all the cool pictures they are drawing and coloring.

| Job is sickWell, here I am chowing on an apple waiting for my lunch which won't be here for another 40 minutes probably. But my dad is being gracious enough to pick up Burger King for me and Logan because I don't have much for lunch in the house. I was supposed to go grocery shopping today but Job woke up very pale and sick. He has thrown up four times this morning and right now he is sleeping. He has been asking for water but I wouldn't give it to him because he threw up all the water he drank this morning and kept throwing up even though there was nothing in his tummy. It was kind of gross too, just yellow goo. And I didn't feed him anything yellow for breakfast. No, he only had two bites of pancakes, both of which came up.
So, I'm guessing maybe this is the sickness everyone has been getting? As of right now, it has been the longest he has gone without throwing up. When he wakes up, I will give him a sip of water and pray he keeps it down! Poor guy. I hope this is only a one or two day thing as we have Job's birthday party this weekend. It would be a bummer if we had to push it off. Well, that's it. I am going to try and be more faithful to blog. :)

| We went to see ThomasWe went to see Thomas and got there 45 min early so we could get a good seat. Got a good seat. We didn't buy any popcorn because we would have left without an arm and a leg. However, we did buy a small drink for $4 because the boys were really thirsty and the generous movie theatre wouldn't give us just an ice water with a lid and a straw--that we would have had to pay full price for (never mind the fact that you can't get refills anyway).
So we watched the Thomas movie and I had a really hard time staying awake. Really, no adult should have to sit through the torture of a Thomas movie. But at least the boys loved it. Afterward, we drove to Old Navy so I could look at maternity clothes. While we were in Old Navy, Job came down with a case of poopy diaper. But, alas! We had forgotten to bring the diaper bag with us and realized it too late. I said, "That's OK. There is a bag of extra diapers and wipes in the van for times like this." Mike said, "It's not there, I took it out last night." I said, "What?!"
So quickly I make my way to the front of the store to purchase my finds--two Old Navy maternity tops on sale for $1.97 each and one on sale for $6.99. We get out to the van and Job's upset that I'm going to buckle him in without first changing his poopy diaper. Sorry Job! Suffice it to say, we had a long and stinky ride home. And I won't forget to mention that it was raining and apparently no one works on Saturdays.
But at least I found shirts at Old Navy for only $1.97! I guess that made it all worth it.

| Today Today I got up late, took a shower, and then made a valiant effort to get the Kitchen entirely clean. That didn't happen. I'm attempting to journal the events of the day and already they have slipped away. It's 10pm on the same day and I can't remember what I did this morning!! You know someday I'm going to be a suspect in criminal case and the cops are going to come to my house and say, "Where were you at 8:13pm last night?" And I'm going to be like, "Uhh....." And that will be the end of that. They'll automatically assume I'm guilty because I won't be able to remember anything!
Sometimes I feel like life just slips away from me as if I'm not even paying attention. Sometimes my husband and I will be reminiscing and he'll be like, "Do you remember when (insert whatever)" and I'll be like, "Uh, no." Totally don't remember that. For instance, when we were courting, Mike supposedly bought me a dress. To this day he says he will never buy me clothing ever again because I hated the dress. For the life of me I cannot remember this dress! Now, come on! You would think I would remember something like that! I cannot tell you how many times I have sat and tried to remember what this dress looked like. I don't remember him giving it to me at all! Although, I cannot help laughing uncontrollably even now at the thought of my husband buying me a dress when when we were courting.
So that's it. That's my blurb for the day. Tomorrow I probably won't remember it. :)
P.S. I was giving Logan a bath tonight and he's like, "Aaah! I'm going down the drain! Aaah!" I was carrying Job out at the time and I turned around to see my 4 yr old being sucked down the bathtub drain and I said, "I'll be back in a few minutes to rescue you!"
P.P.S. I can't wait until Spiderman 3 comes out! Woo-hoo!
