Hello everyone, well yesterday Early Intervention came to go over some more things regarding Chase's speech therapy.  Hopefully he will be starting early September.  Shari, one of the first evaluators from Early Intervention said that Chase is "the miracle child"!  Chase has accomplished soooooo much just in the last month - he has gone from saying 2-3 words (if that!) to quite a few now!  He says Hi and waves his hands, he almost says bye (he tries and he waves his hands while trying to say it), here you go (while handing something to you, and on Friday, Marisa was over and she heard him say twice "I'm scared" while playing on the jungle gym with Mireya.  Although you never want to hear your child say "I'm scared", those words were music to my ears.  Chase's next MRI is in November 2003.  Well, I'm signing off now to be with my Miracle Child and I want to thank Shari, Susan, & Kathleen from Early Intervention for assisting Chase into maturing into a normal (almost) 3 yr. old. - bye Chase's Mommy
