I remember A white beach house rules from atop the hill Scrutinizing the immence ocean What does it see? Ripples from the water against the shore line A young couple strolling hand in hand Their footprints subsequent every step they take There is love with every glance! Every single glance! I remember A time like that When I was a young woman I remember The butterflies in my stomach The way his hand fit my hand perfectly The way he would Ogle at me And smile The way I would smile back! I remember... I remember the anguish, hurt and sorrow afterwards The tears, the chocolate, the movies- EVERYTHING Now I look back on it And realize it led me to where I am now Right now Remembering old,old memories As yet another young couple lives them I remember... ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Ok see that poem was what I went to contest with.
