Currently reorganizing and cleaning the huge mess that is my room...

To all those who i was close to in high school... it's amazing how much stuff I kept from back then.. I miss a lot of people and a lot of who i was back then..

I will miss it so much...

So the number 1 thing that I'm going to miss at Cornell.. (besides my friends of course..and the great education...)
is the CLEAN, FRESH AIR hahaa

anywho..an update on my life:
Bumming in Long Island, living with the 'rents for awhile, Going to China with weiker, jigga, etc in august for the olympics...
then starting work in September in Princeton, NJ
will probably be living with my favoritest roomie, angie <3

my Kitty, butters is currently at my house and as fat as ever :D

Looking at my previous entry full of graduation pictures reminded me of one of my interviews today....

The interviewer asked me what I thought my greatest accomplishment was...

And automatically I said graduating from Cornell Engineering... (although I did add a disclaimer in the preface). And I'm still not sure that it is my biggest accomplishment, but I am proud of it... Go me.. my GPA just keeps getting higher :D

And now i'm stuck finishing my masters degree this semester
and searching for jobs...
I"m not completely sure what I want to do.. but maybe I should've just been an ORIE... but then I would've been labeled a "drop out" (no offense all you ORIE's I know that dropped in... Actually I think I only know one person who didnt' drop out of something into ORIE).

Anywho.. I didn't completely give up civil engineering.. I interviewed for two civil-ish companies today!

Back home finally...
After a long and not so great trip to europe.. more specifically france and italy.. (and even more specifically, paris, venice, murano, pisa, florence, siena, rome, vatican city, milan, monaco, nice.)

I liked venice's canals, michelangelo's david, the louvre, the collesium... and mostly..the italian food.. that was pretty much it... i dont think i'd like to go back there ever....

Started my summer internship this monday..and it's been a confusing week. Working at Turner Construction... originally placed on the NY cruise terminal project at 12th ave and 51st Pier 92 working on Pier 88 and Pier 90...
but today i was moved to the Brooklyn Army Terminal...

So i'll be stuck in bklyn all summer.. ewwww =(
working there for about 2 months.. but the ppl are chill here. my supervisor called my bf a "boytoy" haha who does that... weird.. plus he drove me home from bklyn yesterday.. whew :D the commute is an hour and 20 each day though =( i have to take 3 different trains..how annoying

then back to school for me.... finishing my my masters just in time for graduation AGAIN in december.
that just means more graduation gifts for me :D

Tomorrow's Graduation... FINALLY.
I don't know why i'm not really sad yet.. but i'm sure tomorrow i'll be crying.. you know me...
I think it's cause I know i'll see most of my good friends in the near future.. either over the summer or when I'm back here at Cornell to finish my M.Eng in the fall.
But there will be a lot of people that are leaving that i'll never see again. Remember Wanchee the girl that knew all the asian people freshman year? Wow that was a long time ago.
What happened to her?
Well i've enjoyed my time here and I'm glad I got to meet so many people and I had lots of fun.
Cornell is hell sometimes.. but I feel even more accomplished now that I'm graduating. and im' sure everyone here feels that way.

Too bad i'll be here next semester =(

Congrats to everyone graduating.. we finally did it...
I'll miss you so much.

Only studying for the FE exam would push me to write in my xanga after 4 months....

(FYI: FE stands for Fundamentals of Engineering Exam... 8 hour long test on all the engineering you can handle)

Start studying... 1pm this afternoon...
Test time: Saturday morning some time?
Need to pass: ~50%
Can I do it?

In other news... ASCE (american society of Civil Engineers) Regional Conference was held this year at Cornell University....
I'm proud of our team.. even though we didn't win...
but look at our O SO SEXY bridge. :D

It's the final stretch.
Exactly 3 more weeks of classes.
within which there are a billion projects due...
90% of them within the week following thanksgiving break.
should i even go home?
my one semester of being a senior.. is definitely not going as planned..

Apparently I can't get a full-time job that I want by February, so I'm stuck doing M.Eng.
So I'll be looking for a summer internship in the spring.

Life's been pretty lame. I do get to have fun once in awhile. bars, dinners, movies, parties, the usual college stuff... but it's just not the same...
and of course what kind of entry would it be without pics...

yayyy.
ok so a whole half a semester has gone by without me touching my xanga. I'm very proud of myself. I've stopped my constant whoring.
On the other hand, I have no idea what's going on with anyone.

Serious matters of business. The Future.
what is everyone doing with their lives?
I've finally settled down to two choices:

1. Start my Masters in Engineering Management next semester and finish by Dec 07 and try to find a summer internship at a management consulting firm so as to increase my chances of gettin a good job.

2. If anyone will hire me this year, I'll skip my masters and just go work, but NO ONE WANTS TO HIRE ME apparently no one in the management consulting industry wants to hire civil engineers... what will i do?

so if anyone knows anyone that works at a management consulting firm.. hook a girl up! for an internship at least..

So that's my future.
Currently my to do list:
-finish M.Eng application by Oct 15
-Apply for FE exam by Oct 31 (btw that's an 8 hour engineering exam... yuck)
-Pick out my classes for my masters next semester.
-Pay a lot of bills.

Fall break was this past weekend and it wasn't as bad as i expected. I visited my bf and my parents and got to see two of my brothers "D I miss my family. This weekend I'll be heading back to LI again because Thursday is my baby's birthday!!!

Too bad the poor boy has classes from 8:20-5:10 on Thursday and Work all day on friday, sat, and sun. =*(
I'll also be heading back for orthodontist appt and optometrist appt on sat. yes i still have these damned braces (2+ years) and I'll probably still have them for awhile.. stupid fricken tooth. I hate you.

This senior "semester" has not been as fun as I had hoped. Maybe I have to get out more. My friends say I've gotta stop disappearing. and I totally thought I would have less work than I do.. only 13 credits, but it feels like more. but I'm glad 5 of my friends are living with me this year. and leo's got two chinchillas so we always have soft furry things around in case we need some cuddling. haha.

And i'm missing homecoming this saturday. =(

long time eh?
my xanga is on very low maintenance as you probably know.
But here's just a quick update on my lifey life.

the bday party was awesomeness :D Thanks CP and Weiker X for everything! and thanks everyone else for coming! i had a blast..and no i did not get wasted.. i had fun :D
except my camera broke =( the flash doesnt work anymore..How is the picture whore gunna be able to whore it if she doesnt have a working camerA?!?!? so if anyone wants to get me a bday present :D puahaha..

I went to Miami with Russell for about 6 days from the 15th to the 21st. It was amazing.. the weather was totally awesome and everything was so fun and the food was yummy.. and hotel was nice and we drove down to key west one day and went jet skiing..that was really awesome..and we also went up to ft. lauderdale.. i had so much fun. thanks askim. i <3 you.

Came back from Miami on Monday and then packed and my baby drove me up to Ithaca on Tues and classes started on Thursday.. that sucked =( but at least i only had 2 classes on thursday and i dont have classes on fridays! so it'll be 3 day weekends all semester...plus monday classes start at 1pm "D
The new apt is nice.. there's still sawdust on the floor because they put new flooring in.. and my room's not too bad..come visit!
Miss the people at home and i still miss some cornellies since i haven't hung out with people yet..
I don't want to be at school.
