what's a whoremonger? it sounds like a cute animal.
today i had the privilege to go to the vera wang bridal show~ ee! it was gorgeous stuff, really. except some of the dresses looked like they had cabbage mold growing out of them, but whatever. it's VERA mold. just WANG it. (i'm going to exhaust her name in puns today.)
i'm too lazy to post up pictures, but they're on my facebook.
so we have the "princessities" sweepstakes winner, who signed up to win a prize from the fragrance website, and they win a vera wang dress. although the unexpected twist of this story is that the winner happens to be a mid forty year old woman from the midwest who's a size 14. and as u know, those threads don't come in double digits. now comes the challenge of custom making an exclusive plus size garment for the winner possibly by sewing two dresses together and slapping on a logo. done.

Hello world.
Life has given me some crazy turns in the past few months~
I moved out, got an awesome new roomie, been getting hit by crazy
freelance work on top of full-time, and finally starting to rebuild my life.
Every little thing was a step of faith. I'm such a little kid when it comes to
taking risks, but true to the word, God's been holding me up. I'm thankful.
And my submission for the corporate holiday card was chosen out of all
the designers in my office! I know its a small victory, but come on, I
haven't won anything since a cracker jack box. It's perfect timing
considering my mom's birthday is just around the corner, and if anyone
deserves a good meal, its her. Nobu on the tab, yeaay.
other than that, the drama has subsided and i've resorted to household
duties during my free time. Who would have thunk doing laundry could
be so therapeutic?
oh, and i  joy potluck club.

I'm flying the coooop! Finally I can rejoice~
After months and months of dead ends and roundabout detours,
1. God is good. Even when he closes doors, it's so that you move on
to the one that's RIGHT for you.
2. He humbles. If your head gets too big, it'll won't be able fit into the
door anyway.
3. God is never late. He's waiting for US to be ready. Hello, the 40
year journey across the desert? Yes, I concur.
4. When in doubt, praise. Sometimes I think praise is even more
powerful than prayer. It's the divinely quicker picker upper.
I'm a bit scared that this move requires some risk on my part, but
then again, without risk is without gain. Take it to the †.
