| OK, well this is my first post, and I'm basically doing this because I have no life, so I figured I would join the club of people who dont have lives . So, I just got back from BOOTCAMP!!! Yeah baby. Guess who's team won... Yeah, you probably guessed it... MINE!!!! And I hold some bootcamp records... I do believe. 1. Only person to go paint balling in shorts and a tee shirt. 2. Only person to run across the field screaming... without a gun. and 3. I might have record for most welts (8) caused by my crazed running thing.
All of the events were incredible (like always) but unfortunately I had some other issues. All I can ask anybody who reads this to do, is pray for me. God knows what it is, as do some of you... But please just pray for me, and anybody else involved in the situation. But yeah, we paint balled, shot BB guns, and played volleyball (good jobs team echo... I applaud you). We also played a ton of game room games, like ping pong, and foosball, and carpet ball. But my favorite part of the trip is building new relationships, and growing on old ones. Although, I had my issue, I grew a lot with some of the leaders. Paul, thanks for being there, I really appreciate you, even though you suck. And Tom, I hope to get to know you better, because you seem like a really cool guy. And as always... Dan you are sooooo awesome, and every time you come up, I normally have a blast with you. I love you Dan. And well Ryan... whew, I don't know what I'm going to do with you .
I got to bring Andrew and Ralph on the trip, and I think they had a great time. I'm really glad that they both came, and I'm probably going to invite them to a bunch more of the trips. Lance also went, and he also had a good time, I didn't get to shoot him (drat) because he was on my team, but I still had a good time with him. It rained and rained sooooo much there. We were all soaking wet, but it was so much fun. I had a blast paint balling in water higher than my ankles... it was fun. So, basically to sum up the trip... (Alpha, Alpha, Alpha, Alpha).
Now comes the shout outs to all of the friends who inspire me to be like I am (this shouldn't take long)... Ashley- You are by far the coolest girl out there, EVER. You are the greatest of friends, and you have always been there for me when I need you. I love the fact that you can try and relate to my problems, and that you help me out, no matter what the situation is. I don't want our relationship to fail, ever. Because honestly, I don't know if I would still be here if it wasn't for you. You have been the biggest part of shaping me to be like I am. So thank you so much for that ( I think). You deserve to live the greatest life ever. And I never want you to change a bit, because my whole world would go downhill if you did. Colleen- I hate to say this, because it goes against everything I show, but you really are an amazing friend. Before I really met you, I always thought you were some crazy girl who everyone liked because they felt sorry for her. But boy was I wrong. You are the greatest at giving out advice, and I really hope we can stay friends for a long long time. And... if any of this gets outside of the people who read this (probably won't be many), you better watch yourself, cuz I'm coming after you. Christina- Wow, you have changed a lot since I have started hanging out with you, but it has definitely been for the better. You used to be so shy, and now you get so hyper and energetic at times, and you're just a blast to be around. I'm never ever going to forget you, or block you out of my life. You are still the sweetest girl that I know, so don't change a bit. Megan- Oh boy... where do I start. What an awesome girl. I know we've had our rough times, and they were definitely rough for me, I don't know how you felt about them. I hate not talking to you. It really sucks quite badly. You and I have been through a lot of similar things, and I know that they are hard to get through. But you are doing an amazing job at it. You are always honest with everyone, for good or bad, and I think that that is a good quality to have, just be sensitive with it. The tongue can be a very harsh weapon if used wrong. You are such a cool girl to just hang out with, I had such great times when we would hang out, and I really hope that our friendship can be rekindled, and grow even further. Kelsey- If you ever see that I'm feeling down, or lonely, you notice, and you try and talk to me about it. Thank you so much for that, Sometimes I really need a good friend to just talk to when all else has failed. Rachel- Its very sad to see you go, but during Brasil we had such great times, and I love talking to you, no matter what mood I'm in, cuz you cheer me right up with your stories. You still hold the record for the longest AIM convo with me... 6 hours straight, no bathroom breaks... YEAH BABY!!!!!! Kristen- I haven't really gotten to know that well, but I really hope we can chill some more. What I know of you, and all the times that we have hung out, I've found you to be very very cool. Hopefully we can build on that. Donna- I'm placing you with all of my friends, and not leaders, because that's what I like to consider you. You are like a great friend who gives out wise and old people advice, but you can relate to me, and all of the teens. Keep everything you're doing up, because I love talking to you. Birdman- "Throw those guns up!!" LOL... I still don't know what that means, but it was funny when you said it. I don't ever get to really hang out with you much either, but when I do... PARTAY!! You're an awesome kid, and you rock at the guitar. Keep up all the good work, and keep growing in Christ, because I truly se you growing a lot.
Noah and Dan- WOW!!!!! now these guys... whew... all I can say.... hardcore Brasil. You both are so cool, and I look up to you both a ton. You were such a good example for me, and everyone else. Definitely keep up the good work. I miss you both a ton, and you guys need to get back here to Jers, and stay for a while... cant wait. Jai and Becky- ROCKER IN THE HOUSE!!! Crazy Jai and Becky (the groupie) I don't really get to spend much time with you, but when I do, you guys are both so much fun to hang around. You are both hysterical ( I'm not talking about you looks) and I have a blast with both of you. Noah and Andia- I swear I am not out to kill you. Don- You do so much for the youth group, and you are always on track. Your a great example to all of the teens, and a lot of them could use someone like you to look up to.
Alright... now comes the two big guys... Ryan and Paul. Paul- I never really knew you before Brasil, and boy did I get to know you there. Good times, good times. Our relationship together is growing fast, and I'm so glad that I can trust you, and know that you will be there for me. I don't care what you want, but I want our friendship to grow so much more, because you are an amazing guy. Ryan- Now this is the big dog. You have really been more like a father to me than a youth leader. I feel so lucky, and so honored, and just flat out blessed that I can chill with you, and that we can have such a great relationship. Whenever anything goes wrong in my life, my first thought is to always go to you, because I love the advice you give out to me, and you are so down to earth. You are a great leader, and don't let anybody tell you otherwise. Thanks for always being there.
For all of those people mentioned (which took a little longer than I thought it would), and some who I probably forgot (sorry, tell me, and Ill write a whole post dedicated to you.), you are the reason that I am who I am. You have all led me down my life, step by step you have been there for me, and I want to grow and blossom with all of you through the rest of my life (so keep in touch). |
