Wow so this tag thing is pretty dumb but I'll do it because I'm bored.

1. I love pigs and will eventually have a pet pig (and name it lorenaemily or jamie!haha)

2. I cannot go one day without having some form of chocolate.

3. I love the cow from Chick-Fil-A, he rocks my world.

4. I hate doing the dishes, the germs and grease disgust me.

5. I don't like dressing up, I'd rather wear tennis shoes, jeans, and  a sweatshirt.

okay so there are the top things. let's see lately I've been studying my butt off for finals. Ugg I have to take my Praxis later this month and that won't be fun. It's the rest of my life summed up into 20 pages worth of questions. Well at least part 1 of my life. Part 2 comes later...

So I'm really excited to come home and RELAX. Defintaly watching a butload of tv and eating good food. Not much else is new. Whit still really needs to update her site. I think she's having mental problems. She can't type and won't update! haha

oh and last night I went out with jenn's parents for dinner. It was nice but her family and mine are so different. They are so Southern and everything from the North we would consider "country". They say "fixin to, ain't ya'll gonna, or naner puddin." I have to admit it was hard not to laugh at their accents. They were really nice people though, very sweet. It's funny how much you are like your parents as much as you try to deny it. Anyway, it was a lot of fun to get outside Lu and have good food and company. Other than that, next time I update I will be in La, Pa!

HOMEE SWEET HOME! After various car troubles and a long stay in Afton, 12.5 hours later I'm finally home! It was quite an adventure getting here but it's amazing how God provided. Out in the middle of nowhere, I mean all you Lu's, by Thai Siam. Crazyness!

Home is amazing for the following reasons:

1.Your own bed

2. CLEAN showers& clean toilets

3. humanity& civilization

4. people who speak CORRECTLY

5. REAL FOOD (not the rot)

Let's re-cap: a relaxing weekend actually! On Friday night the "old crew" got back together at Toddwads. It was actually pretty fun to just go hang out, talk, and watch some TV! Yes I actually had the chance to watch some real tv. It was so good to spend some time with Holly and Jenn! I didnt' realize how much I missed them! And Holly, Jurassic Park was scary, I don't care what anybody else says, it can be creepy!!  Holly the food was amazing (even if Todd wanted to put x-lax in my food)! Todd, your apartment smelled, get some air freshener!

Saturday was Jenn's B-DAY!!Cumpleanos a qui! We went out for some amazing Thai food at Thai Siam (highly recommend it) and then chilled at Starbucks. Lourdes, my Jenn, and Jenn from Nc, we had loads of fun! It's great how getting off campus gives you such a different perspective.

Today I went to TRBC and met the most adorable man in then entire world..DR TOWNS! Shaking the man's hands was absolutely the best thing in the universe. He's so cute!! It even beats meeting Jerry!

What's new? Next Saturday I will be home in my own bed, blaring my music, and taking lots of bubble baths. My thanksgiving break with also consist of lots of shopping, and late night coffee talks (si mi chica???!!) and of course a job somewhere in there and of course, planning a wedding!!!!! Also keeping tame a certain half chocolate/vanilla milkshake and strawberry milkshake half sane...life will be crazy!

I might have to RENT some time out!

Anyways not much is new! Liberty is slowly coming to terms with this century, we can now wear sweatshirts to class! I admit it is odd but I really like it.I think our standards are decent and so far our morale hasn't come down because of it.

Anyway I'm so excited to come home and get through these classes. I will miss Lu but I'm excited to come home! Anybody else excited to go home for break??

Time is of the essence..that is what I'm learning about in college! Life has been busy like usual but not insane like it has been.

New updates: My roomate is the best because she's from Cally and is just cool in general, but she is awesome at cutting hair. I kinda let her go wild on me and I now have short hair and bangs. It does look good though (which is a good thing!)

Soon all of you will also be able to look me up on Facebook within in the next couple of days. It amazes me how popular it is. Everyone at Liberty has it and Lancaster is slowly catching on.

I come home November 19th!! I'm so excited to see everyone at Thanksgiving, but it might be hard to see everyone. I have to find a job somewhere and will hopefully be working but if you don't see me chances are you'll see me over Christmas break which is a MONTH long! YEAh! anyways i gtg babysitt but just wanted to mini-post!

By the way, RENT comes out soon!! Go see it!!

Okay so it has been a while since I have last updated my site. So let's see...

Satan has been attacking Liberty campus like I have never seen before. This entire weekend has been pure "havoc." On Friday the power went out and yet we still had convo (no fear, we still heard Jerry). After classes got cancelled the power went on and then out again. Campus Church I must say was interesting in the Schilling both in the morning and at night. However in light of these recent events, it made me so thankful that I have a Savior to turn to through it all. Of course this nothing that big compared to the events in Pakistan, but it made a significant impact. So many times we take the Lord's blessing's for granted, not realzing how lucky we truly are. The message Pastor Johnny Moore gave this morning was AMAZING! Absolutely one of the best to put things in perspective. Everyday millions of people in Asia and throughout the middle east risk their lives to worship Christ. To meet in a gym with one light and be free to worship would be heaven for them. And yet this weekend we complained about the adjustments we have had to make! Praise God that we can even meet! To God be the glory forever and ever.

On the talk of music....I LOVED THE NICKEL CREEK CONCERT! For my girls in high school that understood my love for Mr. John Mayer, get this, Nickel Creek is on the same level, quite possibly inching past him! Gosh I can't believe I said it! Oh well there it is folks, they are better than John! The amazing God-given guitar/mandilon/violin talent they have is incredible. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the concert and highly recommend!

So what's more freaky than meeting an old friend? Meeting one that you met in THAILAND. Can you believe it?? Freaky as all get out! So there were four of us that went to a concert and I one guy named Josh was a missionary. I knew he'd been to Thailand and we talked about it a little bit in the car on the way but I didn't realize how long he had been there. Afterwards driving home he was like where did you go, what did you do, the usual stuff. Then..

Josh: Did you stay at Ambassador City?

Christy: Yes and it was amazing...why?

Josh: Were you there in Janruary?

Christy: Uh, yeah. Did you climb to the top of the building one night?

Josh: Yeah! By chance did you play ultimate frisbee?

Christy: Yeah, my friend and I lead it!

I know that was incredibly long but I thought it was ironic. However it really began to freak me out when they knew Daniel! How odd would that be that he new one of my guy friend's who I hung out with a lot from church!Daniel Cox, it makes me laugh!

Other than those recent events nothing is new. God is still great and I am humbled that He has blessed me so much! I was reading in Ecclesiastes about going into His presence, it really hit home!

"Gaurd your steps when you go to the house of God. Go near to listen rather than to offer the sacrifice of fools, who do not know that they do wrong. Do not be quick with your mouth, do not be hasty in your heart to utter anything before God. God is in heaven and you are on earth, so let your words be few..." Ecclesiastes 5:1&2
