| | golden globes fashion!my favorites! you may notice that the gowns below are rather simple. i think they all epitomize the saying that it's the woman who makes the clothes, not the clothes that make the woman.
reese witherspoon: i love EVERYTHING. she looks so young and fresh. the yellow is really eye catching and the shoes are so cute.
angelina jolie--one word: goddess. she looks incredible-- hair & makeup complement her dress perfectly. she carries that hard to pull off without looking drab grey like a dream.
rachel weisz-one classy lady. (for some reason, this look screams "burberry" to me) she's so well put together and the gown really flatters her body. this is what it looks like to have mastered the art of simplicity.
 
ali larter-fun, daring & fits like a charm. white is the new black, apparently.
and some pretty solid looks:
america ferrera--she looks really good!! that color complements her dark hair and skin tone really well. really awk pose though hehe
vanessa minillo--i don't really like her but i do like her dress :)
sarah paulson (i don't know who she is either)-this looks like vera wang.
some interesting looks--i can't quite make up my mind about these two.
cameron diaz--i feel like she can pull off practically anything. she looks very couture-ish here.
cate blanchett--it looks kind of weird, but i feel like she can carry it off. the top part i love.
and now...wtf.
jennifer love hewitt-looks like a present exploded onto her dress... way too much shiny.
vanessa williams--what the hell?? what's going on with her hair...and another brown overload. and isn't it a little warm in LA for a huge fur whatever that is?
julia louis-dreyfus--what the heck is going on with the top of her dress? she can get a better fit than that. love the shoes, though.
