Neika and Tim got married. We did the after ceremony photos down at Bells Beach.
One of the cars caught fire on the way which shaved an hour off of our time. Neika and Tim don't get fazed by much though and this was no exception. Nothing was going to stop this being one great day.
Having known Neika since she was ten it's so great to know she married such a terrific guy too. I kind of went through that with my sisters also and they all married really nice guys so now the crossbow is on ebay.

| Robert Downie Jr Was In Town
I'm in the city and noticed the crowds and the red carpet as i walked by the cinema. Turned out that Robert Downie Jr was going to turn up within a few minutes.
I happened to be wearing my camera head man t-shirt under my jumper (sweater) so decided to remove the jumper and walk around looking official to see if an opportunity arose.
I figured it looked to be pretty easy to slip into the papparazi box with all the other photographers. Then i decided i had no real need of a pic of Robert even though he is a great actor. What would i do with it? It would be different if it was a legitimate shoot but as a grabshot it is not going to be a career defining image.
It was then that i decided i would situate myself on the opposite side of the carpet and opposite the papparazi so that as they snapped their pics of Robert Downie Jr there would be standing in the background a six ft tall git wearing a white t-shirt with a logo of a stick figure man with a camera for a head.
The intended outcome that it would be one of those images turning up in womens magazines.
No one was allowed to stand where i wanted but i figured i looked official so stood there amongst the police and the security guards hoping that i looked like i belonged.
Then a police officer approached and told me i would have to move. I asked him how he enjoyed working with crowds and we had a little conversation after which i carried on, pretending he had not asked me to move in the first place. I think he was too embarrassed to ask again and he walked away.
Will i see my logo in some womens magazine? who knows but i figure it was worth a try.
