| End of Week 40Well, today is the due date, and still no sign of the baby. If she arrives after 3am tomorrow morning, she will officially be the "latest" baby we have had so far. If she comes out today though, she will share a birthday with her oldest brother.
Because most of our previous children came early, and especially since our last one was 5 weeks premature, we've been so focused on being ready for another early arrival. But we never ever gave a thought to what would happen if the baby was late!
Thanks to everyone who's been waiting with us. She should be here shortly, but I guess she's not going to come out until she's good and ready!

| Week 40My wife has just begun her 40th week of pregnancy. Only 1 of our previous 3 children waited this long to come out. He was born about 3 hours after his due date passed. If this baby follows the same pattern, she would be born early in the morning Sunday, October 21.
Every day I wake up, go to work, eat lunch, go back to work, go home, eat dinner...all the time wondering when the moment will come. But so far we're still just waiting.
Every night I say to my wife: "Get some rest, just in case you have the baby tonight", or "I really have a feeling tonight's gonna be the night."
One of these days I'll actually be right =)

| Another Day...No BabyI think we've officially gone through at least one phase of "I really think the baby is going to come today" days and are currently in a "It doesn't seem like she's ever going to come" phase. We may go through another cycle of these, or just continue in the current one until the undeniable moment arrives.
Our first child was 2 weeks early. Our second came hours after his due date passed. Our third arrived 5 weeks early. When will this one come? Anyone care to submit a prediction? FYI-the due date is October 20, now less than 10 days away.
Eunice was having some stronger contractions today, and had a bunch of them 10 minutes apart for a little over an hour, but still no labor. We did go to the doctor for the routine visit today, and the baby is doing well and is positioned for delivery (she's "dropped").
