hey every1!! i'm soo sorry i havent written here in 4ever!!
is any1 doing the reading the bible through the year?? i am!! lol itz going great except on the weekends i get lazy and thatz when i get behind lol!! well i hope u all are reading ur bible everyday or as much as possible bcuz it realli is essential to ur everyday walk w/ God!!! Like i notice that when i havent read the bible...my day seems to go worse than it would if i did!! i mean when i read...it makes me happy and it gives me joy throughout the day!!! =) heres a verse that like commands us to be joyful -  "rejoice in the Lord allwayz, again, i will say rejoice" Philippians 4:4!!!  awesome huh?? lol yup!!  Put a Smile on!!!!!! lol!!! i luv u guys and i hope everything is going greeat!!!! =) ttyl

Hey everyone!! THis is Michelle!! Since like no one has posted here in 4ever...i was like okay i will! lol

  Here are some really awesome verses that have helped me alot...=) i tried to memorize them but i'm not too good yet!! =)

 Psalm 27:13-14 - I would have dispaired if I had not known that I would see the goodness of the Lord on the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the Lord!!

 Philipians 1:20-21 - According to me earnest expectation and hope, that I would not be put to shame in anything, but that with all boldness, Christ will even now, as allways, be exulted in my body, wether by lif or death. For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain!

James 1:5 - But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

 James 4:14 - Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away!

Micah 6:8 - He has told you oh Man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God!

    Hey Lorin here. Just thought i'd change the colors,hah I hope I didn't ruin it too much. Sorry that we haven't written in a while here.I hope that everyone had a happy Easter

When God created Adam and Eve and put them in the Garden of Eden. He told them they could eat any fruit in the garden, except for the fruit of ONE tree, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. You guessed it- they ate the forbidden fruit. Because of this bad thing Adam and Eve did, they began to die. Not all at once- Adam lived to be about 900 years old! God had intended for people to live forever, but once Adam disobeyed God, he began to die, and now we all die sooner or later. Death is the punishment for sin.

Sinful people cannot survive in God's presence, because He is so holy. But God wanted to be friends with mankind once again, and He wanted them to have a chance to live forever again, like He originally planned. In the Old Testament, He told His people to sacrifice animals to take away their sins. They did this for many years, but the blood of goats and bulls can only hide sins, it can't take them away. A perfect sacrifice is needed to take sins away completely.

About 2000 years ago, God sent His Son Jesus to our planet. Jesus lived a perfect life- He never did anything wrong. Jesus would make the PERFECT sacrifice!

Jesus was nailed to a cross, on a day we now remember as Good Friday. He died, and was buried in a tomb. Three days later, some of His friends came to visit the tomb, and they were amazed to find an angel there instead of Jesus! Jesus wasn't there! The angel told the friends that Jesus had risen from the dead- He was alive!

When Jesus died on the cross, he was taking our punishment for us. We deserve to die, but he died in our place. All we have to do is BELIEVE that He did this for us, and we will live forever with Him up in heaven! Our bodies will die someday, but the "real" us will still live. That's called "everlasting" or "eternal" life. Isn't that good news!

On Easter Sunday, Christians everywhere are rejoicing! They are celebrating because Jesus is alive, and if we believe Him, we can live forever, too!
