So little time!!!!!
Wow! Life can sure be busy! I seriously don't have time to blog right now with the end of the year stuff for school, trying to sell a house and baseball, baseball and more baseball. As soon as I get a free hour or two, I'm going to upload a bunch of pictures and catch up but for now this will have to do.
I will say this for anyone who cares, Rob and I decided the other night that we are going to move to Texas sometime between the 15th and 25th of June. He needs to get out there and the kids and I will just go spend a few weeks in Texas at Nana and Papa Cooper's house. We also want to drive to Arizona and New Mexico and see all of our cousins, aunts, uncles and great grandparents. This will take up a lot of the summer as well. So, it is finally in the works whether the house sells or not. We just decided that we have to make it work and if we have to rent in Texas for a few months, I guess that is what has to happen. Hopefully, our house will sell by the time school starts. Also, we are definitely moving to Colleyville and not Frisco. Frisco did not feel right at all and Colleyville feels really right! I'm excited to be near dear friends and family!
Gotta go, times a wastin!

Top Ten things for the 4th week of April
1. I finally got my detox body wrap that was my Valentine's gift from Rob for Valentine's Day. It was very relaxing and my skin feels great. However, it has caused the seven layers of skin that were burned on my legs in Gulf Shores to peel off and I've been dealing with nasty, flaky legs all week.
2. I was able to help a couple of my wonderful, awesome friends here in Georgia give the daughter and daughter-in-law (same girl) of two more of my wonderful, fantastic friends a bridal shower on Tuesday night. I'm seriously surrounded by fun and talent with these friends and I'm absorbing every great idea they have for future events. The lucky couple are going to Aruba for their honeymoon so the theme of the shower was "Hot! Hot! Hot!." It was a tropical theme and everyone was assigned to bring presents that would "heat things up" in the kitchen, bathroom or bedroom. Aubry, the bride, was the cutest and seemed to have so much fun!
3. I loved American Idol this week as the six finalists were mentored by Andrew Lloyd Webber and I thought that David A's version of "Think of Me" was incredible. I seriously wish they would record that and put in on the radio. However, I was sick for Brook and seriously had that moment when she started her song and then stopped and asked to start again playing in my head over and over for two days straight. My favorite is still David C. I think he's got a great thing going!
4. Eric finished his CRCT (Georgia State Testing) tests on Tuesday and Natalie started on Wednesday. She finished up on Friday and now we are allllll done!! Yea!! Both kids said they were "soooo easy" which honestly makes me a little nervous.
5. Our friends, Brent and Aubry, were married in the Atlanta Temple on Saturday. They look soooo
young and I had to wonder if Rob and I ever looked that young.
6. Their reception/party was the night before and I was lucky enough to be able to help with the set up and then that night serving food. It was such a great party and so incredibly beautiful!!!! Her colors were bright pink and orange. It was so cheerful and elegant and just a super fun thing to be apart of. Like I said before, I'm absorbing all these great ideas for future (way future) events. I've
always LOVED weddings and receptions. It was so much fun to help out!!!!
7. We had only one showing for our house this week and that was after we dropped the price $10,ooo dollars on Saturday. I finally convinced Rob that if we have to move, let's just try to get this over with, get there and start fresh. It is sooo stressful to sell a house and move in any market and this market stinks!
8. Tyler continues to keep us all smiling. (I felt like I needed to add him to this post so he wouldn't feel left out). He took three showers/baths in a 24 hour period between Friday night and Saturday night. One after each baseball game. He's a crack up, knows how to have a good time and loves to get dirty!
9. We had baseball games Wednesday night (Eric- make up game), Thursday night (Natalie), Friday night (Eric), Saturday morning at 8:00 am with batting practice starting at 7:00 am (Natalie) and Saturday night (Eric). Natalie lost the first one but won the second one and got three hits in the game on Saturday and Eric lost all three. His team really struggles but Eric played catcher in all three games and did better and better in each one.
10. And to top off the week!!! Eric is now sporting a "Super Shiner" on his left eye! Talk about scary. In his game last night, he was playing short stop and the player from the other team tried to steal second. The catcher threw a hard ball to Eric to get the kid out but Eric said he had dirt in his eye and couldn't see very well. Well the next thing we saw (and heard) was Eric getting popped on the head with the ball and then falling to the ground. Rob was off the bleachers and running faster than anything and I stood up to watch coaches and umpires running and then surrounding my child who was on the ground on the field. It was really scary. One of our friends told me I could go out on the field but I was literally sick to my stomach and afraid of what I might find. My legs felt like jello. As I started to head out to him, Eric stood up and they brought him over. He's got a great looking black eye and after talking to a doctor (Clairissa's dad who is here for the wedding) we brought him home, cleaned him up and showered him with pillows and treats and lots of love. He was given a Priesthood blessing and had a good night's sleep and seems to be feeling better today.
I told him it was a rough way to go but that he's going to have fun showing that thing off to his friends at school tomorrow!!!! I think he loves the attention.

Taking Turns...
Taking turns has always been a great strategy when
my kids have friends over to play and want to play with
the same toy, but did you know it also works for adults?
Rob and I are taking turns being frustrated over having
to sell our house. This week it is my turn, last week
it was his. Laurie asked what was going on and here's
the answer - Nothing much!
We've had at least 2 or 3 showings every week we've had
it on the market but no bites. This week, we haven't had
any showings at all. I still keep my house spotless at all
times for that what if. Well, spotless might be over doing
it a little. It's clean enough and I'm sick of busting my hiny
to hear comments that are just very picky. You can
afford to be picky in this market. It stinks because this market
is awful!!!! There are 10 houses for sale within a miles radius of our
house. Our neighbors are selling "just because" they want to
move to another area and get a bigger house. They have
two kids with a big house and a huge, flat back yard. Do
what you want to do but why in the heck stress yourself
out trying to sell a house in this horrible market if you
don't have to. It's bad enough when you have to because
of your husbands job.
I can honestly say that I am seriously jealous of anyone who
has lived in a house longer than four years (or the same state
for that matter). I'm so sick of moving every few years. So
sick of it!!!! It doesn't help either that I absolutely love my
life here in Georgia and that is saying a lot considering I've
spent a lot of time in this state being extremely sick! It's
a good thing the move is to Texas where I have a lot to look
forward to.
Well, next week I'll have a better attitude and Rob can be the
frustrated one. I guess taking turns is better than two grouchy
adults at the same time. It always seems to work on Tyler!
Does that mean that we are acting like four year olds? :)

10 pounds down!!!!
Actually, 10.2 if you want to be exact! :)
It's "only" taken me 7 weeks but I keep telling
myself that I'm not in a race. Of course, I'd
like to lose it all tomorrow but I'm trying to
make this is lifestyle change and you can't be too
drastic with these things or you won't stick to it.
One more pound and I'll be at my pre-surgery
weight but I still have 15 more to lose to be to
the weight I was when I moved to Georgia.
Apparently I like the southern cooking a little
too much. I have had a lot of fun here in Georgia!
I love weight watchers and I love the classes. I
spent two hours Sunday night making menu plans
and tweaking recipes and then figuring out how
much a serving would be. I'm eating really healthily
right now and exercising. I've made three new friends
up at the workout room in the community center at our
neighborhood. Two of them are originally from New York
and have the cutest accents. I feel really good and better
than I have for a loooong time!!!!

Spring Break at the Gulf!
We had a great time last week in Gulf Shores, Alabama! Our awesome friends,
the Toliver's, have a beach house down there and invited us to come join them
for some fun in the sun!
We drove down on Tuesday and then played in town on Wednesday because it was cloudy and a bit drizzly. That didn't keep us from having a good time though. We had a great "Southern" meal at a restaurant where they throw rolls across the room and keep the fried okra, black eyed peas and fried potatoes and onions coming throughout the meal. Yummy! We left very full!
Thursday and Friday, it was off to the beach and playing in the lagoon. Oh, and lounging around and reading and relaxing too. It was a very relaxing, wonderful vacation with a super fun bunch of people.
We had a blast with our great friends and even took a nap or two.
Thanks Tolivers!!!!

So, on a lighter note... (kind of)
This will show you what kind of mood I've been in this week. This is not really like me and is almost comical. Well, the particular part is me but the standing up for my particularness is not. Usually, I just convince myself that it is no big deal and get on with it.
Yesterday, I went to the post office to send a little gift to my parents. My dad, BTW, has finished with his transplant and is doing well. The transplant went well and he is on his way to recovery. We couldn't be more happy about this. Well, I had planned to put my gift in a priority envelope and send it on it's merry way but it didn't fit. So, I bought one of those cute decorated envelopes. I chose a bright red one with a big picture of Mickey and Pluto on the side. They had these big huge smiles and my parents have always loved Disneyland and Disney World so I was excited to send them such a bright cheerful package with this fun picture on it. I was careful to write the address on the side as to not cover up the two cartoon characters with their cheerful greeting.
So, I hand it to the postal worker who carelessly slaps a priority sticker right, smack dab on Mickey and Pluto's smiles. Being the nerd that I am, I gasped! Really loud and looked at her like "What the heck did you just do?"
Here's the conversation that followed: (I'm seriously a nerd and, of course was not the only customer in the room. I didn't really care though, obviously. It wasn't that I was loud an obnoxious. I just wasn't going to rush this like I usually would so the next person could have her turn.)
Postal worker: What?
Me: I can't believe you just slapped that sticker over Mickey and Pluto's smile!
PW: Oh, uh sorry.
Me: Well, why did I buy such a cute envelope if you're just going to ruin it?
PW: (Incredulous look but continues with transaction.)
Me: (So, I reach over and take the envelope and say,) - I'm sorry but I have to fix this. - (and I proceed to try and remove the sticker.)
PW: (give me a look like, are you serious?) Your going to rip it. It won't come off.
Me: Well, I'll be careful, but I've got to try. - (Only to give up a second later afraid it will rip.)
Me: (handing her the envelope) I'm sorry to make such a big deal. You are right, it is going to rip and it's just a silly envelope. I was just excited because they had such great smiles and I'm sending a congratulations package to my Dad who just finished chemotherapy for cancer and just got through a bone marrow transplant. (how's that for a guilt trip, but I was pretty bummed and telling myself to stop being so ridiculous.)
PW: Well, maybe I can get it off for you. I'll be really careful. (proceeds to carefully remove the sticker and places the new sticker on the other side of the package where there are no graphics whatsoever!)
Me: Thank you for doing that. I'm sorry to make such a big deal about this. It's just that ....
oh, never mind, Thanks
Did I mention that I think I'm losing my mind? In some ways I'm proud of myself for sticking up for myself but in other ways, I'm thinking... seriously, well, happy travels Mickey and Pluto. I love your big beautiful smiles.

I'm seriously going to lose my mind!
So, as if I don't have enough trauma (there is so much more I could get into but I won't), we get home from our trip yesterday to Frisco to look for houses and the realtors who are selling our house have come into my home while we were gone, rearranged my furniture, hung pictures on my walls and redecorated my house. It seriously made me sick to my stomach. I'll be the first one to tell you that I'm a crappy decorator. I don't like to shop, I have a hard time spending money on things like that, and I don't know how to decorate. I like other people's homes who are decorated. They are beautiful but I seriously have no idea what to do when it comes to my own house. It has been a thorn in my side for years and a real damper to my self-confidence for a very long time. I've asked friends to help me before and get responses like, "You just have to find things you like and well, it's easy...." I guess I give the same response when people say they don't know how to cook. I find that easy but decorating has always been a nightmare for me. However, I was really liking what I've done with my house. I guess it wasn't good enough and now I seriously feel violated! Every time I look at what they've done, I feel like a stranger has been in my home and invaded my privacy. It's pretty but it represents so many weakness that I have and all that has to happen that I'm not thoroughly excited about. I cried for a long time yesterday. Nothing like taking a yucky situation and making it worse. This really stinks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The big review!
Tuesday (two and a half weeks ago) -
Rob left me with his parents still visiting and a house to put on the market. Needless to say, I was running around like crazy, cleaning, entertaining and taking care of kids.
Wednesday -
Rob's parents went home, Natalie had a ball game and her first Activity Days Activity and Eric had practice. Run, Run, Run!
Thursday -
Our house went on the market. The sign is now in our front yard. Yes, in case you don't already know, we are in the process of moving to Texas. When we came home from the kid's doctors appointments after school (routine, no big deal), the sign was in our yard and Eric groaned very dramatically. As soon as the car was in park, Eric jumped out of the car to grab his baseball bat so that he could destroy the for sale sign. I also saw my surgeon today to schedule my surgery to have my port removed. Couldn't wait for that one! Also, talked to my Aunt Judy and sister Tiffany today discussing whether or not we should tell my mom and dad (who had just started high dose chemotherapy in preparation for his bone marrow transplant - very stressful!) that my Grandma (my mom's mom) was put in the hospital today with pnemonia. When we finally decided to wait and not tell my mom for a couple of days, we discovered that Grandpa (my mom's dad) had already filled her in! Crazy - never a moments rest!
Friday -
Woke up extra early so I could get Eric and Natalie ready for school and then left them alone to catch the bus on their own. Then I took Tyler to a friends and was off to the hospital day surgery wing for my 8:00 arrival and 9:30 surgery. I did it all on my own! Rob is still out of town and so I thought I would surprise him by having my port gone when he got home. It was a little scary, well, not really. So not a big deal compared to what I've been through. Dr. Martin and his assistant Ruth Ann have always been so nice to me and all of the nurses and surgical assistants were so nice to me. It was a little uncomfortable but before I knew it, I was port free! Yea! Then it was off to weight watchers (remember my 4.8 lb loss!), a quick trip to Sam's club and them home to greet Rob, who just got home from his trip. We grabbed a quick lunch (our form of dating anymore) and then picked up Tyler. By then, I was a little worn out. I rested a bit after school. That night, we babysat Noah, Natalie's teacher's little baby for a few hours, watched a movie and hit the sack. Never a dull moment!
Saturday - It was a rainy day! All softball and baseball games were cancelled. I was exhausted so it was great to relax a little.
Sunday - Wednesday - Preparing and playing
I spent the first part of the week preparing for the second part of the week. I knew once Wednesday hit, there wouldn't be much time for anything else.
Tyler had a really fun field trip to the Library and then to the Fire Station on Wednesday. He had a great time and he can tell you everything he learned from fireman. It was a fun day.
Thursday-
Tyler had a great Easter party. They had an Easter Egg hunt and then a fun Easter lunch with his class mates.
I was in charge of Enrichment Night on Thursday night so much of the week was spent preparing for the fun evening. We, like so many other wards, did a Relief Society birthday celebration. It was called "A Celebration of Sisterhood." Personally, I loved it and I think the sisters who came did also. It was all based around the elements of a birthday party. We had six dinner tables set up and each one represented two months of the year. I asked different sisters in our ward to contribute a centerpiece that represented their particular two months. It is really fun to see how creative people can be. I really wish that I would have thought to take pictures. Anyway, a lot of the sisters in our ward always end up sitting next to the same sisters every activity, so we wanted to mix it up a bit. We asked the sisters to sit at the tables that corresponded to the months that they were born. It was great and I think it really mixed things up a bit. Our Enrichment teacher (Stacie) gave a great lesson on the importance of celebrations, we played a game of Relief Society trivia (with prizes and all), we gave away gifts and paid tributes and spotlighted our ward's relief society presidency and then had a really fun talk/presentation on the importance of laughter. The night ended with, what else, cake and ice cream. It was a lot of fun.
Friday -
I snuck in an early Weight Watcher's meeting (down 1.6 lbs) and then went home to get my kids so we could get going with our days activities. We had to run to Sam's club to pick up veggie trays and then it was off to the church.
Our ward was asked to be in charge of feeding the missionaries for their Zone Conference being held in our Stake Center. I haven't been able to feed the missionaries for a very long time and probably won't be able to for a few more months because our house in on the market, so I thought maybe I could make up for it by volunteering to organize and execute this luncheon. Am I crazy!? First of all, I forgot that the kids didn't have school that day and secondly, we had enrichment the night before. Well, it really was a great experience. We decorated the tables for Easter and fed the missionaries sloppy joes, chips and veggies. I had lots of help with serving and desserts. My girl friends, Brittney and Marjorie, came with their kids and I had mine and we put them to work. Our kids were so excited to be serving the missionaries lunch and took their jobs very seriously. It went really well and at the end of the lunch, the missionaries sang "As I Have Loved You." It was great and when it was over, Natalie said, "That was beautiful."
Saturday -
Crazy, run, run day! We were up early (Rob and Eric 6:30 for batting practice) and Tyler, Natalie and I were up at 7:00 for Eric's 8:00 baseball game. Natalie and I were at her practice and missed Eric's homerun the night before when he had a game at 6:00pm. It was his first hit in a baseball game and just happened to be a home run. We are having so much fun watching him play. He really loves it and looks so darn cute in his "Phillies" baseball uniform.
Next, we went to a pancake breakfast fundraiser and then it was divide and conquer. Tyler and I went to his friends birthday party and Rob, Eric and Natalie went to a friends going away party, complete with Easter Egg hunt and all. Tyler and I made it for the tale end of the party and then it was off to Natalie's softball game. It was a good weekend for the Norr kids playing ball. Natalie got four great hits and received the team's game ball. Her coaches said they were amazed that it was her first year playing. Her team is the "Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets" and Natalie looks adorable in her navy blue and yellow uniform with her bright pink batting helmet and bright pink bat. She is all girl who knows how to really wack a softball.
We would have loved to go home but we had a house showing just as our long day was ending. We stayed at the ballpark to watch a couple of Eric's friends play ball, grabbed something to eat and then thankfully were able to go home. We were tired. No rest for the weary though. Too much to do to get ready for Easter Sunday the next day!
Sunday-
The Easter Bunny came and hid the kids Easter baskets. We've asked the Easter bunny to come on Saturday in the past because we don't want to take away from the sacredness of the real meaning of Easter but as you have read, there just wasn't the opportunity to do it early this year. It all worked out nicely though. The kids were excited to not only find some yummy candy in their baskets but cheddar cheese rice cakes (a new favorite), Crocs, coloring books and sunglasses. Thank you Easter bunny!
After breakfast, we took a little bit of time to FINALLY color the eggs that I boilded on Monday. This was our first opportunity to be together and decorate eggs. I almost decided to just bag it but a tradition is a tradition. It was a quick activity (nothing fancy this year) but it was still a lot of fun. As soon as we were done, Natalie and Tyler couldn't wait to break a couple shells and enjoy a couple of hard boiled eggs. I didn't even remember that they even liked hard boiled eggs
The rest of the morning was spent preparing Easter dinner and getting ready for church. Luckily, I set the table earlier for Easter dinner. I loved it and thought it would look good for showings. I love having my dining room table set, especially for holidays.
The boys got new ties and blue shirts to go with their suits and Natalie got a beautiful new dress with pink embroidered rose buds all over the dress. I even got a new Easter outfit but didn't take time to get a family picture. In fact, Rob was actually the one to grab the camera to take these great shots of the kids in their Easter clothes. I think he is learning the routine! :)
Dinner was yummy and very nutritious. We invited my brother Justin and his family to come as well as our good friends the Cheeks. We had ham (I think it might just be the best one I've ever made. I always have a hard time keeping it moist.), baked potatoes with all the fixins, spinach salad and yummy punch (thanks Brittney), and Justin's awesome rolls and steamed brocolli (thanks Justin and Clairissa). For dessert, I made the kids these fun, egg shaped cupcakes and let them "decorate" their own eggs. The adults had fresh berris and whipped cream with angel food cake. It was delicious!!!!
Rob had fun helping our cute little two year old niece, Avery, with her cake. We adore Rocco and Avery. I think the kids had a fun time. Natalie especially likes decorating cakes and does a really good job!
Monday - Rob was off to California early in the morning and I was cleaning, cleaning, cleaning. I had so much to do and had to get ready for our house hunting trip and more house showings. With piano and school projects, the kids and I had plenty to do as well. Natalie and I did all of her homework for the whole week tonight because I was afraid we wouldn't have time other nights. She was a trooper and got it all done.
Tuesday - more cleaning and preparing. Eric and I whipped together the visual aid for a project and report due next week. I knew we wouldn't have time to do it later with everything going on. Then we were off to the ball field. Eric had to be at the ball fields at 5:00 for batting practice so Tyler, his BFF Seth, Natalie and I went for a walk through the park trails and then played at the park before the game. The kids ate their lunchable dinner while I watched the first part of the game. That was all part of my plan to hopefully actually get to see a bit of the game and it actually worked for a little while. Then they were off to play on the hill of dirt just behind the bleachers. Boy howdy! You've never seen a couple of dirtier boys as those two got, but they were happy and I warned Stacie ahead of time that Seth would come home dirty so I wasn't too worried (or at least I tried not to be). Plus, Eric's team was playing so well and it was so fun to watch. He won! Their first win of the season. They've done well but always lost by one or two runs just at the very end. We finally got home about 8:30, took showers and were in bed as soon as possible.
Wednesday -
Repeat of last night only Rob was home from his trip so he could help out. Eric had to be at the park at 5:00 for his 6:00 game. Tyler had spent the afternoon with his cousin Rocco, so we took Avery so Clairissa could watch Rocco play soccer that night. Avery had fun playing at the park and watching Eric's game, but we couldn't stay for the whole thing because Natalie had to get to Activity Days. Avery and I ended up helping to watch a bunch of kids whose parents were at the church for a Primary meeting while we were waiting for Natalie. We had fun and got home about 8:30. Shower, homework and off to bed. Kids go to bed pretty easily when you wear them out! :)
Thursday -
I got up early and hit the floor running. I had us packed and ready for our trip by 9:00 am so that I could go to Weight Watchers (a day early) and so the carpet cleaner could clean the upstairs carpets before we left for Texas. This was all a plan to actually let the carpets dry for a few days before my kids started the process of dirtying the up again. :) I lost 1.4 lbs (yea!) but really don't feel like I've lost anything. I still have a lot to go! It is going to be slow going too but I guess that is good. Patience!
I cleaned and packed the car. We picked up the kids from school and it was off to the airport. Plane trips are so much easier with older kids and electronic divices, although I'm proud to say that Eric and Natalie read their books for much of the flight. Texas is great! It was nice to get here. The trip to Frisco seemed like a hike but it seems like a nice place and the kids had fun in the hot tub and made some friends at the hotel tonight. We are unpacked and ready for a couple of days of house hunting. It is going to be a whirl wind weekend. Although it would be nice to visit with my parents, family and friends, we've decided to forego the visits this time. Honestly, we are too tired to run around, we have a lot to do and learn about this place and know that, hopefully in a couple of months, we will live here and get to visit whenever we want to.
It's been a crazy couple of weeks and a crazy couple of days here in Frisco. We've seen sooooo many houses and are still trying to figure out what we want to do. We are looking in Frisco because it will be a short commute for Rob (who has always had to deal with awful commutes) and Rob and I really want to focus on our family. We want to do the right things but honestly, we are not 100% sure what that is. This trip was mostly to see how we feel about this area and to help the kids get excited to move to Texas. This is really a hard move over all. We are excited to be back in Texas and close to family but we also really love our home and friends in Georgia. I'll have to fill you in about our trip when I get home. It is late and I've been typing for way to long. It is nice to get caught up though. I hope I haven't bored you to death but this is my life and to me, it is anything but boring!

True Love!
My Grandma and Grandpa were both in the hospital this weekend. My Grandma was admitted on Thursday for pnemonia and my Grandpa was admitted Saturday for severe back and stomach pain.
He was basically exhausted. My aunts and uncles help so much but he is always there for Grandma.
Grandma Forshee has polycystic of the kidney and liver disease. Here kidney's do not function anymore because they are covered with cysts so she has been going to dialysis for the past four years, three times a week. My sweet Grandpa Forshee gets me Grandma to the treatment center early every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. He has been taking care of her selflessly and he is almost ninety years old. There have been many complications and my Uncle Don many times will help by driving my Grandma to her treatments, but Grandpa Forshee still gets up, gets in the back seat of the car and goes with my Grandma to her treatments- every time.
These two wonderful people are devoted to each other and have been an incredible example of true love and constant devotion for their children and grandchildren. I have so many wonderful memories with them. We have had sooo many great times at their house.
Well, Grandpa and Grandma were both having tests done and happened to be done at the same time. By chance, they met up in the hallway and were able to talk and hold hands for a few moments. My Aunt Judy thankfully thought to use her cell phone camera and take this sweet picture. It is something we will always treasure because it is a symbol of true love better than any fairy tale.
My Grandpa is home now and the doctor has ordered home health care to come in every day and help. My Grandma has been moved to a nursing home so that she can be constantly watched and get help getting her strength back. They wanted so badly to both be at home together but it just isn't
working anymore. Hopefully, this will help them both so much and they will understand how necessary it is. I love them both sooo much!

Weight Watcher update
So, I was up early and off to the hospital to have my port removed.
I joked with the nurse that I hoped the port (which is very small and
light) weighed five pounds because after my surgery, I was going to
stop by weight watchers on the way home. She must have not realized
I was joking because she said, "Oh, that tiny thing probably doesn't weigh
more than an ounce." Well, the surgery went well and I was off to weight
watchers and I lost 4.8 pounds. Yea! It has been a stressful and crazy week.
I really wondered if I'd lost anything at all. I know stress can make you gain
and I'm a serious emotional eater. Good thing I was being careful...
