Again and again...

God is so faithful...even when our attitudes stink, when we are discouraged or lonely, when we are frustrated with people or tasks...He is indeed our source of contentment, our companion and encouragement, he is our provider and our source of peace. Most importantly He is God...the alpha and omega, all powerful, righteous, loving, just, creator, designer, sustainer and developer. He is God...whether or not we choose to follow Him...

Hmm...

I many no longer depend on pleasant impulses to bring me before the Lord. I must rather response to principles I know to be right, whether I feel them to be enjoyable or not. - Jim Elliot

"Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not put out the Spirit's fire; do not treat prophecies with contempt. Test everything. Hold on to the good. Avoid every kind of evil. May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it."

1 Thessalonians 5:16-24
