| hey everyone, well i haven't got to update in a while. i've been busy working. i'm so excited for the outdoor waterpark @ the nw ymca to open!!! i'm ready to work out side! i got to get in the outdoor pool today to do cleaning stuff so i got a little bit of a tan. i got to talk to luisa (german forien exchange student staying @ my house this comming school year). she called our house to talk to our family. she sounds cool and she likes to use the word "cool" a lot. she gets in the 29th (the day after i get back from supersummer). i'm also excited for supersummer!!! this is my first year actually going cuz last summer i didn't get to go cuz i had to choose between supersummer and frontliners and i'm glad i went to frontliners last year cuz we aren't going this summer. i've got mr. walker for english again this commin school year. i don't know if that's good or bad. oh well. i read some awesome verses in the bible the other day:
Proverbs 3:5-
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shal direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; feaf the Lord and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, and strenght to your bones. Honor the Lord with all your possessions, and with the firstfruits of all your increase; So your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine. y son, do not despise the chastnening of the Lord, nor detest His correction; For whom the Lord loves He corrects, just as a father the son in whom he delights. Happy is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who gains understanding; For her proceeds are better than the profits of silver, and her gain that fine gold. She is more precious that rubies, and all the things you may desire cannot compare with her... (now in verse 19) The Lord by wisdom founded the earth; by understanding He established the heavens; By his knowledge the depths were broken up, and clouds drop down the dew. My son, let them not depart from your eyes- keep sound wisdom and discretion; so they will be life to your soul and grace to your neck. Then you will walk safely in your way, and your foot will not stumble. When you lie down you will not be afraid; yes you will lie down and your sleep will be sweet..."
well, long story short: God's gonna take care of you, but you have to persue His treasures that are worth more that material welth (gold, $, silver, diamonds, ect.) wisdom is the most important and truth, knowledge, and understanding go hand in hand w/ wisdom. i think it's so cool how the bible refers to wisdom as a "she"!!! and wisdom is older than all ya'all so u better listen to her cuz she was there even when the heavens and the earth were made and took part in creating all that w/ God. don't be worried about food, clothes, shelter, ur hairdew, nuthin cuz God will take care of you and make shure u don't fall into a bad situation w/o a way out of it, but u gotta persue God and His treasures and commandments or else u won't find God's way out of the hard time or bad situation. there's some food for thought. lol. ttul. luv ya'all lots!!! |
