i also wanted to let everyone know i had the greatest time tonight at youth group. i really felt that though the meeting was serious it stilled allowed us to be comfortable and casual.

i cannot wait until the next time we will all be together.

Hi Everyone!

We had a great meeting last night- thanks to all who came! Ed and I just love spending time with all of you, especially when we have such awesome conversations (like on Sunday) about our Almighty God!

Vocation Night and the upcoming retreat should be amazing- hope everyone can make it!

hey everybody! i know i've been updating alot, but i get REALLY bored in study halls and play around with xanga give me something to do. so i found a layout that's pretty good. the web site i found them on had 2 others but i kinda liked this one better. but i also found 3 icons that we could put up. they're down at the bottom of this entry. pick which one you like, or if you dont like any of them we could put up a picture of our whole group.

by the way, the last one is animated. it goes from this picture, to a picture of the cross with the words "this much"

a bunch of us went to Adoration on Sunday night at st titus. it was sooooo much fun. Fr. Chris was there(if you werent on the retreat you prolly dont know who he is) and led the whole thing. the band was really really good, and at the end we all got to go up front and show everyone our dance to 'Days of Elihja' (yes i know i spelled that wrong) that was really fun. it was kind of a late night, but it was worth it.

also, on xanga you can put up an icon. they have pre-made ones on some xanga sites, but you can also upload a picture from your own computer. if everyone's ok with it, i'd like to get a pic of all of us so we could have it as our icon because if you havent noticed, our xanga's a little bit boring. if everyone wants to be in the picture we can take it this weekend if a lot of people come to either the christmas bazzare or the mass.

Hey Guys,

I know I have not posted something on here in a very long time. But are all of you looking forward to adoration on Sunday??? I hope so, since it was my brillant idea to go again. Nothing exciting and new here expect I am working at Limerick Vets all the time lol. It's fun expect for the depressing part of the job.. Anywho back to a boring web page i have to make for web design.

Hi Guys....

This little girl and her family really need our prayers. I taught her in first grade and she's now in fifth grade but has been diagnosed with cancer. Here's the information my principal wrote about her:

Lindsey was admitted to Dupont hospital early Monday morning (Oct 24th) after a C-Scan at Paoli showed three tumors. Another Scan was done at Dupont and more tumors were discovered. She has two lower in her abdomen, one large one in her stomach, one in her kidney and one under her left breast. They did a bone marrow, spinal and head scan which all came back good. They did a biopsy Tuesday morning and we got the results back Wednesday. The type of cancer she has is a B-Cell Lymphoma. They started treatment after they did a Spinal and had another treatment Thursday morning. Her next treatment will be next Thursday (Nov 3rd) and then every 3 weeks after.

Hi Everyone- it's Jen. Ed and I had an amazing weekend at the Going Deeper Retreat, too. The people from Franciscan University at Steubenville were truly sent to us from God- their messages touched each one of our hearts in a different way. I feel as though I cast my net out into the deep and was able to pull in a treasure chest overflowing with ways to reflect upon my relationship with the Almighty and get closer to him. Here are a few of the most precious jewels that I brought back from the retreat:

God hasn't promised us that we'll have a perfect LIFE, but he offers us His perfect LOVE.

Spiritual Depth depends on Consistency and Honesty.

Consistency means that the little things in day-to-day life add up to big things in God's eyes. Honesty hinges on self-knowledge. We need to know ourselves so that we can be honest about our thoughts, feelings, and actions.

Be strong in your faith! If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything! (Be rooted in the scripture.)

Find joy and passion in the Catholic Church!

The very Life of God is inside of us. We can increase or decrease that Life within us. We decrease it by sinning, but we increase the Life by receiving the sacraments, praying, and doing God's service. Nurture Christ within you!

Just as a small candle light can be seen in a sea of darkness, the light of Jesus within us can shine like a beacon for all to see.

Three things to help your light shine bright:

1. Pray everyday: Thank God, lay your requests before Him, and then be quiet- listen to what he has to say to you.

2. Read scripture every day to get to know Jesus. He will speak to you through the Bible.

3. Believe in yourself. God created you to be great!

When Jesus died on the cross, he told John to "Behold your Mother". We can also go to Mary, our mother by praying the rosary. Hey guys it's Kiki. "The Going Deeper" Retreat kicked butt!!! I never knew a person could experience the things that we did. All the love that was around us you could reall feel God in your presence. I think this retreat has really brought me closer to Him, and to his love. I qant to have that love affair with him that Jim was talking about. It was sooooooooo amazing and i can't wait till we go to another one. We are defientely going to have to ask Jen if we can go to adoration at St. Titus again in the beginning of November.
