It's creepy knowing who looks at my page.  There's more than a few people who I really don't want reading anything about me.

Beach was alright.  School is too close.  I think I've made my allotted number of mistakes for the summer.  I certainly haven't had all the fun I can have yet, though.  My school schedule remains fucked up, I am completely unprepared.  Shopping is in order.  I have to get my art together for the fair in September.  I have to learn how to wake up at 6 o'clock again.  I have to save for a camera, not a car.  I figure it this way: I take photographs better than I drive at this point.

And..I don't have any use for this xanga anymore because I post everything in my private one.  But hey, I can always post pointless things here.  Like this.

Summer is almost over, kids.  Was your's worthwhile?

School is starting way too soon.

I was actually looking forward to school starting this year.  I couldn't wait to get my new club started, recruit members, and actually make a difference in this town.  I still can't wait.  But realization hit me about this year.  All of my older acquaintances graduated last year and the year before.  The seniors now.. are mostly assholes; with a few exceptions of course.  This means my club will probably only be juniors (unless some sophomores join and bring freshmen?), and I'll probably have classes with a lot of people I don't want to see.  Also, the club is definitely going to make some waves, and I'm just hoping it doesn't get too much opposition, or worse, not be recognized at all.

On top of that, I have some teachers that I know I don't mesh with- not in an "I hate you" way, more like an "I have no idea how to follow your stupid fucking teaching methods" way.  I also find it kind of troubling that my weakest subject (math) is my first period.  Then Chemistry second.  I'm not even awake for periods 1 and 2 most of the time.  I'll also be ending my days on a shitty note, because my second weakest subject (history) is my last period.  Now don't get me wrong, I'm an A, B some C's student.  However, I'm lazy.  I could do better, I just don't.  I never had to try and I know I'm going to have to this year.  As selfish as it sounds, that sucks.

And since Solanco has it's collective head up it's ass, my electives are all wrong.  I didn't chose electives because they're "easy," I chose them based on what I want to do for a career.  Word/Powerpoint (which I learned in 4th grade) and Nutrition 1 and not going to help me be a better graphic designer.  My dad called the school while I was at work yesterday to get them changed and they said they did- but now powerschool is telling me I still have the old ones plus Web Design 1 and minus Algebra 3 (a required course).  Would it be too much trouble for Solanco to actually be on the ball for once? Aren't seniors and juniors supposed to get first choice for electives?

I give up.  This year is looking like it's going to suck.  Let's try to list good things..

I get to start my club.
I get my licence in October.
If I'm still working when school starts, it wont be with Douchebag.
I have advisory with Mr. Mendez and so does KJ.
I get new clothes for school and my mom pays, not me.
I turn 17 in February.

I'm back from the beach.

I caught a snake.  And two ghost crabs.  And a frog.  And plenty of toads.  I let them all go of course, but there's really nothing else to do at the beach.  We've also got these weird beatles there now, they're as big as rhinoserous beatles, but skinnier and longer, without the horn.  I took a lot of pictures, none of which will be on here because xangans are theives.  Etc etc, blah blah blah.
