Wow, a review! A Review of my Own Xanga - weblink, 5 stars So then, I remember this being up there, but I always thought it was other people reviewing the site. *shrug* Oh well.
I wonder if anyone uses this function? Well I guess I do now. Whee!
So if I have to review something, I suppose reviewing the history of this Xanga is a good Start.
This Xanga began because I had a boyfriend named Matt White who had a xanga. I wanted to be able to post comments to his blog, so I started one, and continued with my Deadjournal (a spin off of the Livejournal.)
In the beginning it was all superficial with posts only pertainning to Matt, many of them I've deleted over ther last three years. Much of the deeper content of my life was staying at Deadjournal.
But slowly the more user friendly Xanga started to pull me in deeper. While I stilled used Deadjournal, Xanga had stepped out of the shadows of just being there to being my main blog. I could post pictures as I wanted, play with text (a later feature they added. It rocks to be an old xangian).
After the Break up with Matt I continued the use of this blog, slowly turning my deep thoughts and more abstract thinking out. I went through deep depressions here, another relationship a year later with Natalie Masquera, and six months later Realized a perfectly happy me.
I started a relationship with a guy I only ever called Sweets here as to protect him. I later left him for a guy named Chase Slaton.
Charels Madison Slaton. My third and most recent flop of an engagement.
And from there I'm still working.
From the birth of being a shallow lovelove box, to the deepest record of my being, Xanga took a hard turn, and not always a friendly one. It's rare I have alot of comments. But I figure, that doesn't matter in the end, though I do indeed perfer comments. I want to know what other people are thinking. I'm bouncing my ideas out to you. Bounce your feed back back to me.
So enjoy this Xanga trip. It's not easy, as life never is.
