This is what you might call the rebirth of the Mortal Kombat series. There hasn't been a Mortal Kombat game so good since Mortal Kombat 2.
Story: 4 stars
Mortal combat only has a story if you pay attention to it. But John Tobias doesn't write the story anymore so the story isn't as good as it used to be.
Control: The controls are really good but take quite a while to master. Some think the gameplay is slow, but that is only because you need skill to pull off the best of combo's
Sound: A mix of new and old the sound is pretty good, but as a lways I don't usually pay attention to sound.
Graphics: this is how you expect a fighting game to look like by now, but the PS2 version's graphics are glitchy, some of the backgrounds might dissapear while playing.
Fun factor:
A really great game, the chess kombat is great, and the tetris style game is something that can bide your time if you need a break. The Konquest mode is a gold mine for MK fans, there are so many cameo's from old characters that I just had butterfly's in my stomache when I saw Rain for the first time since MK3.
OVERALL: Get this game its worth it, and its one of those that just one day when your bored you'll be like I wanna play some mortal kombat, andyou might end up unlocking some more stuff.
A great sidescrolling shooter, not as good as megaman, but still good.

Like castlevania, Its hard to screw up these kind of controls. Jump, duck, shoot. The only thing about shootingis that you cant shoot diagonally, this understandable though, considering games like megaman only allowed you to shoot in 2 directions.
Sound: 3 stars
I didn't really care for the sound the mondless destruction should be enough for anyone though
Fun factor: 4 stars
Fun game. you have the sidescrolling shooter part then you have the bonus levels that have a lightgun game feel to it. Boss levels are great if you love difficult bosses
Overall: Great sidescrolling shooter but it does get repetetive at times, but the bosses should be a good enough challenge to keep you going.
This is one of the best NES game you'll ever come by. It took the formula of the original and made it better. this is also one of the first games to have a day/night system.

Its different, story wise. you killed dracula in the last game and now a curse has been placed on the land and now you have to collect pieces of dracula's corpse.
Controls: 5 stars
You jump, walk, attack, and use your sub weapons. Some would think that you cant screw this up but there are games that have.
Sound: 5 stars
Almost the best sound you'll get from an NES game.
Fun factor: 4 stars
yes 4 stars. cause killing easy enemies does get boring, but for a good fight wait till night to go on your killing spree the enemies not only are stronger but you also get more experience.
Overall: One of the best castlevania games, for me its second only to Castlevania: Aria Of Sorow. So go get an NES and play this.
Ocarina of Time is in my opinion the best Game of all time, though this review is a bit late by about 2 years since its last rerelease

You start off as a kid who gets to go in a giant treee and kill things for no reason, Other than that the plot is something you'll easily be drawn into the fact that link never talks also seems to give a sense that you are completely controlling what happens

What bad thing could there be to say about the controls, well nothing the Z/L targeting depending on which release of the game your playing, makes the game easy yet still challenging.
Sound: 5 stars
Sound isn't important to me but the game does contain alot of sounds remniscent to past games. The sound is exceptional though not a single thing in the gme game where the sound didn't fit.
Graphics: 5 stars
lets see this runs on an advanced mario 64 game engine and look at how much better it looks.

This deserves more than 5 stars but my ranking only goes to 5. Lets see I have played and beaten this game over 30 times without ever getting bored, Now that atleast says something, not to mention killing things never gets bored.
Overall: Such an awesome game, I wish they would rerelease it again but this time with Zelda :twilight princess graphics.
