| Lost in Translation - movie, 4.5 stars This is my 2003's favorite movie after "LOTR: Return of the King". Bill Murray's acting is great as always, and I really liked Scarlett Johansson (she looks great).
"Set in Tokyo, where two bored, melancholy Americans — a fading movie star (Bill Murray) shooting an ad for Suntory whiskey and a young married woman (Scarlett Johansson) with an ambitious, neglectful husband (Giovanni Ribisi) — become fast friends after meeting in a hotel bar. The two spend an adventure-filled week together taking in the sights and getting to know each other"
I loved the first 30mins of the movie, you can see there's Bill Murray's character social cultural shock when he arrived to Japan and it's good funny stuff. He just wanted to get out of there until he met Scarlett, you can feel the mystery between them, how they get close but not as close I will like to get to her. Still the message I got from it is that no matter where or what kind of situation you are, it is always depend on you to make the best out of it.
*PS: JP has great bars, even the strip club was cool designed (just to the public, I don't like strip clubs)* |
