| Saw II - movie, 4 stars Alright, understand I was particularly spent when I went and saw this. What's that mean? Well, one I can't tell you for sure if the camera was really jittery or if it was my lack of ability to focus, also perhaps I was a bit more accepting of loosely drawn characters and sloppy line delivery.
All in all though the movie wasn't that bad, as far as shock horror goes. It's true the first one was better, only because of its 'originality'. This installment held some nice bloody death scenes and some good shocker moments. The ending was fairly typical of this sort of flick and I won't give it away because well I'm not a total dick.
All in all I liked it, and I'd watch it again. One of the new kids on the block, the whalberg one, is the main character I think.. though I sat so damn close to the screen everyone's heads were all distorted so I couldn't tell you for sure that was him.
Either way not a bad flick, go see it.. you won't be pissed and want your time back. |
