NEW YORK (AP) -- The NBA has spoken with the Los Angeles Lakers about a sexual reference coach Phil Jackson made in a comment following Tuesday night's game in San Antonio.

The Spurs made 13 3-pointers in their 107-92 victory, and Jackson was asked if too much penetration was leading to open outside shooters.

"We call this a 'Brokeback Mountain' game, because there's so much penetration and kickouts," Jackson said. "It was one of those games."

The 2005 film, which won three Oscars, depicts two cowboys who conceal their homosexual affair.

"The remarks are in poor taste, and the Lakers have assured us such remarks will not occur in the future," league spokesman Brian McIntyre said

The end of something marks the beginning of another

I've been back in America since wednesday night, but havent found the energy, drive, or time to write this entry. The last couple of days back in LA was really tough. Jet-lag made me want to murder various people. I think i'm finally adjusted today and i found some free time that i can use to make the last entry of this year's summer missions.

For the last week in taiwan, we held a conversational english tutoring class in Peng-Hu. This was our second year there, so we knew most of our helpers, the location, and the english level of the students. We were prepared going into the last week because of our familiarity, so the week went by rather fast and organized. the turnout was 40 for the morning section and ...7? for the afternoon section. Not particularly impressive, but we got to spend some quality time with the people that did show up. It was a short camp, only 4 days, so our exposure to the kids were limited. I only pray now that they will be able to retain some of the wisedom from the bible.

After the camp, there was a island tour and a seafood bbq....fun and yum! I then left the team to visit my grandma. She's a christian and shared with me many testimonies....one which included poo and diapers....(go figure). But She is a great encouragement to me because of her unconditional trust in God, even though her testimonies were very graphic.

I've since started the summer portion of MS1. I may/maynot drop of the face of the earth. forgive me
