  • Still goings-on here in Illinois.  Little man was quite crabby today missing his mama I am guessing.  But we made it through like the troopers we are and still managed to have a wonderful day.

I slept like a rock last night but April told me there was much goings and comings of her to both of her men.  Yes, the hospital sent Jeff home.  Can you imagine?   I pray all sleep much, much better tonight!  She even said there was a terrible thunderstorm.  ???  I am sleeping by the a/c and hear n o t h i n g ! ! !

It is believed that Jeff passed out from heat exhaustion.  This is an enormous blessing.  However, he really made a mess of his shoulder.  The ball in the socket of the arm/shoulder broke off  a lump plus the ball broke in half.  Can  you imagine?  Lots of test to be taken Monday and surgery on Wednesday.

He does seem to be handling it well.  Lots of pain medication, poor guy.  Wednesday seems like a long time off right now, and then will come weeks of rehabilitation.

Please continue to pray for this family!  Any oh yes.  Sweetie and Lacey.   He reports that Lacey is really missing her mama!

  • UH-OH!

I got up very early this morning to make a trip to STL to take care of a little man about 14 lbs. in weight!  Something happened to his daddy late afternoon yesterday causing him to pass out.  In falling, he broke one of his shoulders severely and is in the hospital.  We haven't heard when surgery will take place yet.  We  haven't heard what the CAT scan showed to tell us why he passed out either.

We sure would appreciate your prayers for this family at this time!!!

  •  We've been working and working and working around here!  Had hoped to get it all accomplished before the horrible summer humidity and heat set in.  Didn't happen.  What a surprise!  In trying to spruce up around here, I painted over my adorable shed in the back yard and to Sweetie's delight, made it match the house.  He is happy! happy!

I drove through a neighborhood on the way to work the other day and spotted a house that I really liked so came home and did my own thing.

  • Went to see Keean this weekend.

Got lost getting there but found other various towns in the St. Louis area and now know where Bush Gardens is.  I was wondering!

I realized while I was driving home I didn't take a single picture.  What's that about?

My new red Jeep is b - u - t - ful!  Can't drive it until we sell the van tho.

I got in trouble at work today for talking instead of working.  Can you imagine?

  • Happy Birthday to my oldest brother as he turns 29 (again)!

When I was young, he would take my dolly's and turn his back to me and pretend to punch them while making punching noises!

He also would take my dolly's and hang them with a noose around their necks in the shower!

One time, my little kitten was run over by someone's bike, and he took the lifeless kitten and put it on the kitchen table and told me he would bring it back to life.  Didn't work but he tried.

Happy to report he turned out okay tho, and is a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and brother!

    Love you Jon Philip!
