ok. for all you sad losers who still check this thing...well, thank you. because i'm back.

i'm going to try and update this frequently.

let's start small and go over the pluses and minuses of the week though:

-pope dies -
-mitch hedberg dies -
-my ethics paper blows -
-i didn't get to go to pre-school -
-i had the pay with my left nut to get weezer tickets -
-u.s. lost to mexico -
-can't go to san diego to see mars volta due to lack of funds-
-lack of funds was due to paying fines for st. paddy's day party in my room -
-played frisbee at china camp beach on monday, which will now become a every monday ritual (as in, today) +
-won intermural ultimate frisbee, got bad-ass t shirt for winning +
-got mars volta and weez tickets +
-went to bangin' party last night +
-can coast through the rest of the semester +

i don't know why i divided the pluses and minuses. i think it's because i suck or something. but this week will be good methinks.

anyways, be cool my babies.

wow. it's been a while.

i'm not going to go through all that useless crap of updating you on what i've been doing. because it's been a long time. and that would take up at least, pssh, two paragraphs easy.

so i'll just inform you of what i did today and such.

i had my mri today. it was the most agonizing thing i've ever been put through. have you ever tried laying completely still for 45 minutes? i don't recommend it. just hung out and slept most of the day, a lot of work as well.

the concert with the roots and 3rd eye blind on saturday was cool. they were both very impressive live.

got my tickets for bfd today. stoked about that.

An edit for ignorant people: REAGAN DID NOT END THE COLD WAR. The Soviet Union would have collapsed if Reagan did nothing. We could've sat a donkey in the White House, and the Soviet Union still would've collapsed.

In light of former-President Ronald Reagan's passing, I would like to point out a few things that happened during his two terms in office:

-Funding for medical and mental care was drastically curtailed, which forced the sick and mentally ill out on the streets.

-We are still reaping the cost of his flawed environmental policies. SIDENOTE: He once stated that "trees cause pollution".

-He promoted legislation that let corporations raid pension funds.

-The Iran-Contra affair, in which Reagan was accused in a congressional report of exporting arms to Iran and channeling the profits to U.S.-friendly armies in Central America summed up the deficiencies of his foreign policy. It also led to innocent deaths.

-The moral authority he claimed over the Soviet Union was also diminished by his willingness to support unsavory regimes in the Middle East, including Saddam Hussein's Iraq.

-Reagan's interference in Central America was shameful. He claimed that the invasion of Grenada in 1983 and attempts to overthrow the left-wing Nicaraguan government were part of the grand objective of preventing the spread of communism. But these moves did little to harm the Soviet Union and much to undermine America's reputation.

-The strategic defense initiative, more commonly known as Star Wars, was a visionary Reagan project, but a flawed one. The president's stubbornness on this scuppered a promising agreement with the Russians at the Reykjavik summit in 1986. The project lives on in the form of George Bush's national missile defense plans.

-Disgraced America by going to Bitburg, Germany, in August 1985, to honor the SS. Nazis murderers buried there.

The list could go on for a while. WAKE UP PEOPLE. Please stop glorifying Reagan's time in office. He was one of the worst presidents of all time.

Also, I would like to add that I never wish death on anyone. I am not happy Reagan is dead, or anything like that; he was not a despicable creature or anything. I sincerely hope he rests in peace.
