| | | TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood, | | | And sorry I could not travel both | | | And be one traveler, long I stood | | | And looked down one as far as I could | | | To where it bent in the undergrowth; | 5 | | | | Then took the other, as just as fair, | | | And having perhaps the better claim, | | | Because it was grassy and wanted wear; | | | Though as for that the passing there | | | Had worn them really about the same, | 10 | | | | And both that morning equally lay | | | In leaves no step had trodden black. | | | Oh, I kept the first for another day! | | | Yet knowing how way leads on to way, | | | I doubted if I should ever come back. | 15 | | | | I shall be telling this with a sigh | | | Somewhere ages and ages hence: | | | Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— | | | I took the one less traveled by, | | | And that has made all the difference. | 20 | | | Ok we have all read this poem but right now it is how I am feeling. Right now I am standing at this fork in the road. One road leads to the road I have travelled, working at OCU. The other is unknown to me, it is a leap of faith, taking my life into my own hands and going for it. As of right now I do not know which road I will choose, the choice is getting harder everyday. Right now I have to see what the "prevailing wage" is for my job at OCU, if it is too much more than what the school has budgeted for my position and how they are trying to creatively make up the difference then I guess I will know which road I will be taking. But as for right now I stand here, at the fork, wishing I knew what I was going to do. | Currently Watching The Queen By Helen Mirren, Michael Sheen, James Cromwell, Sylvia Syms, Alex Jennings see related |
