| Just got back from New York, All we did was shop, eat, party,sitesee, a
museum, and shop some more. Culture shock up there, im so glad im back
in Texas. I mean i like cold weather but I was wearing 3 layers of
shirts, a heavy jacket, a beany, earmuffs and gloves. yea too cold for
me. Oh yea a Blizard hit the eastcoast when we were up there so we
didnt get to hit up Atlantic City =/ its ok, ive decided, I am going to
quit gambling. Yea im for real, no more gambling for me. I promise! I
have responsibilties now and i cant be taking these hits. We went to a
asian club in New York, it was pretty tight, du ma, it was like 85%
korean, we were like surrounded, Ive never seen so many people with no
eyelids in my life, haha we had a good time, I was so crunk that I heard when we
got to the hotel, Tommy opened the taxi door, and said "Loc, were here,
lets go" then I shut the door and said"NO, i dont need to through up"
haha
The food was the bomb, Soup dumblings at Joe Shanghais, grays popapia hotdogs, Carnegie's were my top places to eat.
The allstar weekend was this weekend, it was tite, we went to the
Allstar Rookie Game, the Air Jordan shoe release party, and got to see
Jadakiss perform, hmm then after partying thurs fri, i decided to chill
this sat night. Oh yea, I didnt get to go to SA this weekend =/ really
wanted to too. Yea life is good except, i lost a kinda big bet when the
Rockets lost to the Suns by like 40 points....embarrasing, just
horrible. Ill never bet for the Rockets to pull through again and thats
also why i am not going to gamble anymore. The Rockets are trash, but I
still like Tracy and Yao.

| Leaving for New York in two hrs!!! Cant wait  , my life has been so good since ive graduated for so many diff reasons  NYC this weekend, then good old SA the following weekend!

| Wow, I just moved to Houston 2 weeks ago. Its the bomb. Everyone is
happy that I'm that last out of five kids to graduate in my family. I
got a bunch of graduation money and have been doing really good in
poker lately hehe. oh yea GO TEXAS! Vince Young made me 600 bucks haha.

yea so after coming back from studying abroad for seven months in Hong
Kong, I finally graduate in 4 1/2 years. Graduating 6 months late was
worth it for one, HK was awesome, number two, my last semester was the
hardest semester ever for me and I'll never forget it. Living in a one
bedroom apt alone, taking 18 hrs of school, working a internship for
Merrill Lynch, keeping up as much as I could with AKPsi, family issues,
and reading to Pre-K kids for junior achievement! I was so busy! My dad
didn't even show up for my graduation which made me hurt very much but
I guess it just makes me a stronger person. I am
proud of myself for accomplishing what I did, and overcoming so much
adversity these past six months. Oh yea, Thank You everyone who came
down from Austin and Houston to party it up in SA for my graduation.
 
NEW YEARS!!! It was real fun..I think? I don't remember much of it
haha, We went to a maskaraid party. Houston gets crunk fo sho. I didn't
get to go to other parties that night that I wanted to bc Houston is so
damn big and everything is far, but I have to start getting used to it.
or do I? I still might relocate to either San Fran or Kansas. I really
want the job in Kansas working with Sprint Corporate at the national
headquarters of sprint. My cousin works there and hopefully I can too.
If I get in, I know there is a lot of potential to move up in that
company. Today I interviewed and tested at State Farm Insurance. It was
great. I actually have to go to Dallas this weekend to go through the
second round inteview process with them and go through seminars. Its a
6 month training process. After this weekend in dallas, if all goes
well, they are going to relocate me to Austin for 5 weeks where there
Regional Headquarters are and are going to pay for my hotel to live in
austin while I train there. Sooo exciting! Luke and Insurance? I dont
know but I am going to do it because its good pay, experience, and I am
not going to be one of those college grads that just can't find work
and just chill. I have applied to almost 100 job positions. I am still
wieghing out my options.
 
This was this past weekend at GLO. Pretty fun, I got trashed again but
hey I am still celebrating graduation hehe Jason and Meagan came to
party it up in Houston too. This weekend was great =) I am really
happy, everything is going well in my life. I do miss SA though, but
houston is great. I still will always back up my SPURS but I like the
Houston Texans a lot. My cousin got season tickets! I also can't wait
untill My Spurs come tear up the Scrub Rockets. Im gonna wear my Spurs
Jersey and get jumped by H-town black people, how fun!! hehe =P
 
Ok last but not least, this past semester I have been going to a pre-k
class, reading to them, and teaching them lessons related to business
and money. It was so fun! I really would love to be a elementry school
teacher but the pay sucks. it really makes you feel good and happy when
the little kids hug you and say "I love you mister Luke!" everyone
should try it. hehe but again, the pay sucks, I like kids but I
seriously can't go far in Corporate America being a teacher.
=/ I am going to miss those little Jorges and Marias back
in SA. haha Ok so I updated xanga, its been so long since I have, But
who looks at xanga anymore anyways =P
