| WOW!!! It looks like I haven't visited this site in over a year!!! That's nuts!!! So many things have happened to me during that time period that I don't even know where to begin! So here's the biggest thing that's going on in my life right now...I'M GETTING MARRIED!!! I never thought I could get to this point in my life. To me, it's like looking back on middle school and imagining what I would be like in the future when I would graduate high school...let alone attending college! I would always imagine myself being so mature, hot, stylish...and TALL! HAHA!!! Turns out I am more immature than ever, my fiance thinks I'm the hottest thing that he has ever seen (he betta!), slowly becoming stylish, and I'm still not 5'4. But I do have to thank the Lord that I've grown at least an inch since middle school. I do have to contend with the fact that my mom and dad will always be a good 5 inches taller than me....even when they shrink. I think I'm going to have to weld a special, kushy (did I spell that right?) dolly in order to get my parents from point A to point B. I'm sure I'll figure that one out when the time comes. So for those of you I haven't talked to in ages (which seems to be everyone I know), I'm getting married on March 8, 2008 to Mark Steven Gardner (aka "the love of my life") in the Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Temple. Don't feel bad if you haven't received an invitation yet. Mark and I haven't sent them out yet (soooo bad!), and Mark is making a site for everyone to go to in case they didn't receive their invitation before the wedding (hahaha...ha...ha...crap.). I've just recently made up my mind about marrying Mark...so I guess you can say we're trying to throw this wedding together in the most organized way we can at this point. The reception is going to be at the LDS Church on 33rd and Bryant in Edmond at 7:00pm March 8th...and for those who would like to witness our ring ceremony it will be at 6:30pm. Everyone who would like to come are more than welcomed too! We would love to have you guys! Well, I guess that's it for now. My 5-year-old cousin Elise just got home from school which equals destuction and devastation through out the house, so I better feed the beast before the beast eats me! LOVE!!! | | |
| Wow...I'm really, really tired. But I must stay awake!!! I'm going to go with Goober today to pick up his tux and then I have a date tonight . So anyways, Edmond's old 1st ward missionaries are all starting to come home!!! First it was Brandon Bassett, second was Maritza Giles, and then last night, Jeff Hale came home from Bulgaria!!! Troy, John, Brandon and I met up with the Hale family to greet Jeff off the plane at 11:55pm. So now Trent Giles gets back November 9th, Cory gets back December 6th, and Mark gets home sometime in February!!! wHOOt!!! Ok, now I'm going to take a really quick nap. LOVE!!! ~JaMeS~ | | |
| So I know its been forever since I last updated my "pics of the week". That last pic was more like "Jamie's pic of the decade"...sad, I know. So here's a pic of me and my boyfriend before we started dating. This is when Jeffrey got back from the Marines. He's gone to work and I really should be studying for my Biology lab exam today. But here I am writing on xanga and missing him. I know I'll see him around 4 to 5 this afternoon, but...but...its tooooo long!!! I don't wanna wait!!! *grunt* . Urrr...but I know I have to. I really need to get back to the apartment and study. Hopefully I'll ride my bike to school again today if its not to hot. I've found that bike rides are refreshing and keep me focused. Plus they save gas and allow me to get to school faster. Yep, that's right...they actually get me to school faster. Yesterday when I rode my bike to school, I was in class in 10 minutes compared to the 20 minutes it takes to get past traffic and trying to find a parking spot (which aren't available until 5 minutes before class starts). So when I drive to school, I find myself running through the parking lot and running up 3 flights of stairs to only be just on time, barely on time, or down right late. Yesterday I "merrily strolled" to class, took my time climbing the 3 flights of stairs, strolled down the hall, AND slowly sat in my desk. It was fan-flippin'-tastic. Nahh, but seriously, it was muy bien...except for the fact that it reminded me that I was definitely out of shape. Anyways, I really have to go study my brains out. See you on the flip side ~JaMeS~ | | |
| Ok, ok...I know I've already written stuff today on here, but because I left my book (Angels and Demons by Dan Brown) at Jeff's house, I am now stuck watching the kids with nothing to do...except write on xanga! wHOOt!!! Anyways, I would just like to say that Keane is the best thing that has ever happened to me...recently. If someone walked up to me and randomly asked what my favorite band is, I would have no choice but to simply tell them Keane. I just downloaded "Is It Any Wonder?" and "Crystal Ball" onto my cell phone last night along with "Miss Murder" by AFI, "Banana Pancakes" by Jack Johnson, "I Ran (So Far Away)" by Flock of Seagulls, and "The Scientist" by Coldplay. I'm such a music fanatic! It's not even funny.
Later this afternoon I finally get to finish watching season 3 and 4 of red vs. blue. I'm so excited!!! I didn't know that they were on dvd until Zach told me he had all 4 seasons of it on dvd! How cool is that?! I still can't believe Jim got to get all of their autographs at Akon! Lucky! So Ryan is back and wants to work on a song by Journey on the piano with me. See you on the flip side!

| Today is August 14th, and it is currently 7:55am in the morning. All I have to say is that any time past this, you need to watch out for my little brother on the road. Today is the day Ryan will TRY to aquire a Oklahoma State Drivers Liscense. And as much as I want to support him, I also want to take a brick and slam whoever is rigging the sands of time...in the face. And on top of Ryan taking his test today, guess who is coming home in December?!?!?! CORY!!! AND my bus partner just got married on August 12th!!! Lizzy is now Mrs. Ejtehadi. Can you believe it?! She's flippin' married!!!...and I'm so happy for her! She was drop dead gorgeous on Saturday with her beautiful white gown! Justin must be so grateful to be married to such a beautiful person.
CONGRATULATIONS,
MR. and MRS. EJTEHADI!!!
Ok, I think that is all I have to say for today...except that you need to watch your back when driving. I might trust your driving (depending on the person, of course), but its the other person I don't trust...*COUGH*...ryan...*COUGH*...
LOVE!
