wings would be great... but i don't get the impression that people in searcy are real big on spicy foods, so buffalo wings may not do so well
what searcy really needs is some italian. a fazoli's would be key. fast food for the student or soccer mom on the go... italian fits a niche that is completely uncornered in white county. a veritable gold mine.

Chad, I had a great time at Bison Daze,,, even though you arent my counselour, thanks for all the hard work, oh and by the way,, the movie trivia was pretty interesting. Im glad that you are bringing this topic up, because just this weekend I was taking note of all of the restaurants in Searcy. I love the Italian idea, as well as Krispy Kreme,,mainly because those are delicious,, but Searcy really needs an affordable sitdown restaurant with a good variety of food, for example Chilis.. Its a nice place to sit down with friends for a meal that isnt fast food, but its still fairly affordable. Its a nice family restaurant, and offers a large selection of food choices. Just what Searcy needs!

chad tappe, im sorry you have shin splints... how are you besides that?! ok, here's my suggestion... a papa johns!!! what better pizza is there in the world besides papa johns and their garlic sauce, wonderful crust, great sauce, and friendly smiles? (that last one was just for giggling purposes.) a krispy kreme would be awesome too, but papa johns gets my vote!

i totally second the fazoli's idea!  i think searcy would do good to have a good ice cream place like TCBY or something....mmm:) Taco Bueno would be amazing too!!  that's all i got for now!

In case you didn't catch it on the last post:
How about a movie theater with a coffee shop in it, a laundromat (put your clothes in, watch a movie, and they're done), an indoor blacklight mini golf course, go karts and batting cages out back, a real arcade inside, and to top it all off, a room where the walls are lined with giant screen tvs that play every sporting event on at the current time.

As far as italian, we have Charley's pizza for calzones and stuff, Mazzio's has great fast food italian that tastes better than Fazoli's (I get chicken alfredo about monthly), and Doc's has good sit down italian.

Basically Searcy doesn't really need another restaurant cause we barely support the ones we have. Cracker Barrel would probably do well off the interstate, but it'd be more travelers than searcy people going. Mmmm, but it would be awesome to have a sushi place nearby.

im still all for my ultimate frisbee pro shop.  Ultimate frisbee is the greatest activity/sport ever created and where else would you get your frisbee gear?

searcy needs a panera bread co. that would be nice.

as for the shin splints, keep off the pavement and ice them until they're permanently numb. you're talking to a cross country girl who knows. i feel for you, chad.
