Hi all,

First off thank you to those of you that gave me B-day wishes yesterday on my special day.  I have had no cake yet though hopefully will.  My fav. in the summer is DQ frozen cakes.  You though are all the sweetest.  I did have a good evening with Bret and when I got home I was tired and ready to get some sleep.  I did not get to sleep quickly because it was loud here because my Sis had some people over and they were going until around 2:30 AM.  I am so glad that my parents and sis. and bro. get back tomorrow AM so hopefully there will not be people over tonight though anything is possible with my sis Aly.  

Before going to the movie Bret and I went to Oak City for dinner.  The food is good there though is a bit more pricy I think than Applebee's and Chili's.  The service though is good.  We got our food quite quick.  The Dark Night is a good movie I thought.  It is not one of those that you go to in hopes to get a laugh though and good feelings.  It is well done and I think keeps your atatention the whole time.  It does not seem that it is as long a movie as it is.  That is my take on it.  

Today I am just going to be relaxing at home for a little while this AM.  Then I am going to be going with Bret this Afternoon to the Historical Museum of Minnesota  for a while.  I have not been there before so it should be interesting.  I will let you all know what I think.  I am off to just relax and maybe go back to sleep a little bit.  I hope that you all have a good day and weekend.  Take care.  Until next time.  Blessings.

Hi all,

Well,  I am going to finish on my family posts finally.  My Dad Larry and my Step Mom Laureen had two kids together.  My Little Sis. Amanda and my Little Bro. Tommy short for Thomas. 

Amanda- is 11 and going to be in 6th grade in the fall and go to a new School.  She will be 12 in Nov..  She is very smart and likes to read just like her older Sis :).  She has started having to wear glasses in the last year.  I think that she looks really nice in them.  She looks a lot older than she is though I think that it is also because she is on the tall side for her age.  I think that she has passed me in height though I had expected that she would.  I will have to get some good pics and post them of her with me when I spend some time with them which will hopefully be sometime this weekend.  I am also glad that she is doing things at Church.  She has even taken some piano lessons and just might get back into that.  She is not much into sports stuff though like my other siblings that are in High School are.

Tommy-  He turned 10 back in June.  He will be in 5th grade in the fall.  He also is a very good reader and has read the Harry Potter books already.  He is in Scouts and has really liked that and built up some great friendships in that and also at Church.  He also is just not into the sports thing much though has done a little basketball through the Church that they go to.  

I am so glad to call them my Sister and Brother.  Even with the age difference that there is between us I still have enjoyed seeing them grow up and am just glad that they each know the Lord and will hopefully stay grounded in going to Church as they grow older.  I just have to cover them in prayer.  I hope that you all like this post and read my last one if you have not yet had time to.

Hi all,

I am going to tell you now about my Dad's Side of my family.  My Dad married my Step Mom in Sept. 1994.  My Step Mom Laureen is 40 and so less than 10 years older than me.  She is a great person though and I can talk to her and she likes me and my sister Liz.  I have not ever called her Mom though I do not think that she has ever wanted me too.  I have a great Mom and she knows that.  

She now works in the Office of the Church that they attend.  She had worked at a College in the Human Resources Department when she dated and then when she married my Dad.  She then took some time off working to be home with my little half sister and brother until my brother started first grade.  She likes working at the Church and then can take days off that my siblings are off and also the summer so that she can be with them.

She is great for my Dad and I know that they are doing great.  They might not be able to do a whole lot of trips all the time though they are not bad off and have what they need.  I am so glad that my Dad decided to marry her and that she is in the family.  Without her I would not have the two amazing siblings that I do that are now 11 and 10.

4.  I am almost done with a good book that I cannot put down at times and do not want it to end 

5.  That I can get up tomorrow when I want because I do not have to work

6.  I am going to go pick out my new bed tomorrow hopefully

7.  Chatting with my friend in a little while

8.  My B-day is in three days I had to throw that in :)
