| Pictures of our new place...We are starting to get things going with the house and land...electricity is supposed to be turned on today for the house and at the barn. We are getting satellite tv on Sunday and Casey is picking up our refrigerator today. He got his tractor yesterday (so we went riding!)
Below is a picture of the trailer.

Here's the barn...

Here's the drive way...

More of the land...

Our land along Locust Rd...

And....(drum roll please)...the infamous Tractor!

| OUCH!Well, we got the diagnosis for my car...it doesn't look good...it's the fuel pump...which means $600....can you believe that?????????????????? My jaw dropped to the floor when I heard the news...but on a lighter note....Casey and his dad bought a tractor this morning...woohoo (I say that sarcastically)....
This is what it looks like:

I guess if I don't get my car fixed, I can always drive this to work...ha ha ha |

| Interesting Weekend...
Casey went Turkey hunting this weekend in Ranger, TX (about and hour on the other side of Fort Worth), so I decided to go with him. Parent's of a good friend of ours has a ranch out there and they let Casey go out there and hunt. They have a cool cabin that we stay in too. Our friend (Tammi) lives in Lubbock and she met us out there to hang out for the weekend.
My weekend started out terrible though....Thursday I started noticing that I was getting another sinus infection. So Friday I called the doctor and she wrote me a prescription for some antibotics...Thursday night and Friday night I slept a total of 3-4 hours, but by Sat. morning I was feeling better (not well, but a lot better)... Sunday on our drive home my car died on I-20...go figure! We decided to take my car instead of Casey's truck because it has such better gas mileage...luckily we were stranded under the overpass at the Canton exit. So while we waited for Nathan and my father in-law to come tow us, Casey and I walked up and down the roads around Canton checking out the little stores. Too bad it wasn't the first weekend of the month! We chilled at the Dairy Queen for a little while. The drive should have taken us 3 1/2 hours to get back, but instead it took us over 8 hours...it was a very interesting day...we thought that we just ran out of gas, but when we filled it up it still wouldn't turn over...so now we are guessing that it is either the fuel filter or the fuel pump...who knows...it will probably be the most expensive thing possible - my luck!
Anyways, today is a new day...so far it is a good one (although I don't feel that great). At least we are not stranded anymore!
Tomorrow we get the keys out to our new place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's the best news ever! |
