.........................all of a sudden, i don't care about blogging anymore.  as you can tell, most of my blogs have turned into what i did that week or pictures.  i don't care to post my feelings as much.  don't know why!?  and NOW, a lot of my friends have left xanga.  allowing them to read up on my life and visa versa was HALF the reason for this!!!!!!  perhaps it was very therapeutic and perfect for that season of my life.  maybe i'm entering a new era...........

i'm not saying i'm leaving forever.  gosh, i've put a LOT into this site.  but, my updates will be fewer and further apart, that i can tell you.

it's been an interested day so far.............

last night, i went with a ton of friends to see that swing band again!  so much fun.  they are more jazz/funk/blues than just swing, but you know what i mean.  needless to say, i had no car because it was getting looked at.  so, i asked my brother to take me to work this morning.  i must have asked him 4 times last night.  i kept telling him, 'pick me up at 8:45, ok?'  well, 8:45 this morning, no jimmy.  i called his cell.  it was OFF.  i called the house.  no answer.  i called and called and called.  i even called my brother matthew.  no answer.  kill kill kill kill!  meanwhile, the mechanic calls and tells me the bad news-----brakes.  damage?  $360.  not bad but not good when you don't have extra cash.  i told him to do it.  that's important.  ya need brakes.  i sat back and thought.  i was contemplating putting it on my credit card but really unhappy with that since i just paid the whole thing off.  so, i decide to check my  bank account to see how much i had currently.  i stare at the computer thinking, HOW do i have that much money????????  lo and behold.........................i see it: 

government relief............deposited into my account!!!!!!!!!  when?  yesterday!!!!!!!!!  needless to say, God is good and the timing is amazing. 

after jim finally picks me up (yes.......i was late.........), he calls me breathing really heavy and screaming that he was in a near accident where a guy ran a stop sign.  he kept saying, 'chrissy.......he shoulda hit me!  there's no reason he didn't.  he ran right thru the stop sign and i could see his bumper inches from my face!'  God's protection again.  WOW.

sooooooooooo now i'm at work.......decompressing and beginning my day.  tonite................oh tonite.  it's gunna be a fun nite!  we're all going to the delancy in nyc  www.thedelancey.com

the really cool part about tonite is that these two bands are friends.  they are incestuous, actually.  they've all played together in some way or another.  and tonite, they bring their new and improved music to us.......together.  it should be a rip and a 1/2.  i'm excited for march of the saints, too..........it's their first show in manhattan.  and the delancey is a fun place.........right under the williamsburg bridge!  so, if you're in the area..........hop on over to 168 delancey and come hear some good music and meet some good friends.

that's what they say, right?  in this case, it should be:  time flies when you're getting old.  it must be my age.  there is no other excuse.  i blinked and it went from monday to friday.  i mean, i'm NOT complaining.  i love the weekend.  i've grown to love it even more! but, geez.  holy loss of 5 days. 

what'd i do this week?  hummmmmmmmm. 

tuesday, i worked LATE.  i was at work till 10.  i came home and crashed after chatting with my roommate a few minutes.    wednesday, i went to see my friend's band, holler wild rose, in nyc. www.myspace.com/hollerwildrose they were scheduled to play at 10:15.  i was tempted to just stay home but i thought.........everyone's going..........i love them..........if they go on at 10:15, i can be in bed by midnight.  WRONG.  they got pushed back and once i was there, found out they weren't going on till at least 11.  what time did i get in bed?  almost 2 am.  what time did i get up?  8.  shoot me.  thursday i actually went to the GYM again after work.  it had been a while.  i really think i needed a break cuz i was starting to hate it.  alas, my body hurts today.  so, i'm skipping today and going tomorrow.  i think that's fair.  yes?  last night after said gym experience, i went home and watched 'wild hearts can't be broken' with my roommate. 

do you REMEMBER that movie???????  we both screamed when we saw it was on.  at the end, we were both in tears.  it's true.  lame lame lame but come on..........it's GOOD!  and hubba hubba....that main character is one hot man! 

michael schoeffling.  we looked it up.  that was his LAST role.  what the heck!? 

either way, we watched the movie and i went to bed at 10!  nice, huh?

today.............work.......errands............movie with nikki:
