| Wow. Been a long time since I last updated. A year ago, I was fumbling around for a future that I didn't really care for. But by God's grace alone, I have somehow taken the PCAT, applied to pharmacy school and am preparing for an admissions interview next week! Did I have any clue that this would be happening last year? Absolutely not. In fact, I even fought the prospect of going into pharmacy and still have doubts from day-to-day. But of course, this shows me how little I know God's timing and how much more I need to trust in Him. 35 "Who has ever given to God, that God should repay him?" 36 For from him and through him and to him are all things. | God's Miracles in the little thingsCool stuff today.
Started off by waking up fairly on time for getting in early this morning (little after 4am). Usually I turn off the alarms and go right back to bed. This time, I get up and actually continue to stand after turning off the alarms...keeping me awake. But I half-climb into bed and am sitting awkwardly as I return to sleep. About 5am, I get the worst Charlie Horse in the world because of sitting funny half outta bed. But, hey, I'm COMPLETELY AWAKE. Even have time to fold laundry for some clean clothes. The fact that I'm even awake this morning and at work by 8am (traffic wasn't too bad), is totally unreal.
And it turns out that I didn't have to walk a half mile on my bad leg to pick up something for an experiment this morning. Funny how God makes things work.
Thought today would be totally nuts and packed with experiments, but kinda quiet this morning. Even had to update Xanga for the 1st time in a year...
in short, it's amazing to see how God provides in all things, especially the little ones! | | |
| New idea: If you encounter a verse in the Bible that conveys God's love for us, go ahead and send me the verse! (yeah, I started it w/ Jn 3:16) I'll add it to the list of verses, and we can have a growing reminder of how evident it is that our Lord LOVES us!!! | | |
| AM I THE ONLY ONE AROUND HERE THAT MISSES HOCKEY !?!? Hopefully everyone makes the best decision for the fans. Ticket prices were pretty pricey last season. And they better change a lot of the rules to promote scoring and break aways, unless they want to keep it boring... | | |
