  • Good Morning!

I'm feeling a little overwhelmed. I haven't had a lot of time lately to do all the extras that need to be done around here and about town. I'm squeezing in everything i can but I still fall short (as if I'm not short enough all ready, lol). We need to get out and about this afternoon to get Annie work pants before I run off to work. I need to make lesson plans for the week and finish the laundry. It's so much fun to be a woman, lol. We're making it to church 9 times out of 10 but there are days it seems like such a challenge to get there. We're juggling three works schedules and one school schedule. Eventually all of this will come down to size.

We have new neighbors. The little house next to us has been on the market for 6 months and it finally sold. The family that bought it moved in yesterday. We've only met one member of the family so far.

Ok, has anyone started Christmas shopping?! Officially we have. I can not elaborate more because I know family members like to stop by and see what the scoop is so suffice it to say the mad dash to buy gifts is on. I like to be done as early as October 1st. Last year that didn't happen and this year it probably won't happen but at least it won't be last minute. Amen!

Ok, I have to hit the shower and move on out. Work pants are calling Annie's name. God bless each of you. The prayer list will be out tonight.

My days off are over and it's back to the grind. My time off was over all to soon. Alas, I barely knew thee R * R. ~sigh~

Anyway, I was thinking tonight, as I was on my way to pick up Annie from work, of the songs my dad use to sing to us as children. When my older brother was a baby Dad would sing 'Blue Suede Shoes' to him. Instead of the word shoes, Dad would substitute booties. Thus the song was 'Blue Suede Booties'. When I was a baby my Dad would sing to me 'Pretty Woman'. When my girls were little I sang them an old tune I heard in a 1940's movie. I don't know the title but it had the words I want to dance with the dolly with the hole in her stocking, and her knees a knocking and her toes a rocking. I want to dance with the dolly with the hole in stocking and dance by the light of the moon. And sometimes even now I still sing that song.

Our new kitty Fay has acquired an interesting habit. She likes to take things from around the house and hide them as in like a stash. My husband found her stash today. It contained a tube of lip gloss, a tiny glass ladybug, a tiny drawer that goes to a tiny thimble, and a few other odd assortments. Fay also likes to take one of my smaller stuffed frogs and play with it under the bed. We're glad Fay has come to join our family. Thank you Lord.

Well it's time to say good night. Bed and a good book await me. God bless you!

It's beautiful day in the neighborhood.  Won't you be my neighbor?

Good News: Annie starts her new job today!! She is working for the same company as my husband. Where as Charlie drives a 24 ft. refrigerated truck, makes deliveries, picks up deliveries, etc., Annie will be working in one of the restaurants. She took the test and got her food handler's card this a.m. We're very proud of her.

Sara, our oldest in Oregon, is back from a week in the Nev. desert at the Burning Man Festival. However, she left today for Hawaii. It's been a real hit and miss situation communicating with her because she's always on the go. Sara has always been a good traveler since day one.

Would anyone like to join my FROG blogring here on my page? If you're a frog lover then this is the place to be I know I have mentioned my frog addiction before and it is great. I'm always on the look out to add to my collection. I use to collect a lot of things. I've really cut back over the years, but...you knew this was coming, I will never give up, never surrender when it comes to FROGS!

Well it's time for me to get moving on my chores, etc. Woman's work is never done. God bless each of you. Pray! The fervent prayer of a righteous man (woman) avails much!

THESE ARE SOME OF THE BEST RIDDLES I HAVE SEEN....

THE ANSWERS ARE AT THE BOTTOM.

     RIDDLE #5 IS AMAZING.

IT WILL SHARPENS YOUR BRAIN AND STALL ALZHEIMER'S FOR YEARS!!

    1. A murderer is condemned to death. He has to choose between three rooms.

The first is full of raging fires, the second is full of assassins with

loaded guns, and the third is full of lions that haven't eaten in 3 years.

Which room is safest for him?

    2. A woman shoots her husband. Then she holds him under water for over 5

minutes. Finally, she hangs him. But 5 minutes later they both go out

together and enjoy a wonderful dinner together. How can this be?

    3. What is black when you buy it, red when you use it, and gray when you

    throw it away ?

    4. Can you name three consecutive days without using the words Wednesday,

    Friday, or Sunday?

    5. This is an unusual paragraph. I'm curious as to just how quickly you can

find out what is so unusual about it. It looks so ordinary and plain that

you would think nothing is wrong with it. In fact, nothing is wrong with

it! It is highly unusual though. Study it and think about it, but you still

may not find anything odd. But if you work at it a bit, you might find out.

Try to do so without any coaching!

THE ANSWERS TO ALL FIVE THE RIDDLES ARE BELOW:

    Answers:

    1. The third room. Lions that haven't eaten in three years are dead. That one

    was easy, right?

    2. The woman was a photographer. She shot a picture of her husband,

developed it, and hung it up to dry (shot; held under water; and hung).

    3. Charcoal, as it is used in barbecuing.

    4. Sure you can name three consecutive days, yesterday, today, and tomorrow!

    5. The letter e, which is the most common letter used in the English

language, does not appear even once in the paragraph.

    How did you do?
