and so we called her . . .

We had the chance to spend a few days camping with our favorite Whitacres - all of them!  Linda had already met Edie, but it was the first time we introduced Edie to the whole gang.  Julie and Linda were quite good at calming her down when she was fussy but Brian  . . .  not so much.  He was sure that she didn't like him.  Several times I calmed her down and passed her off to Brian hoping that she would stay happy long enough for him to enjoy her.  So I tried one last time, she was fed, she was changed, she was burped, she was happy . . . now for the hand off.  I waited a few minutes and she stayed happy.  I breathed a sigh of relief and I watched and listened as Brian soaked it in. 

 Brian:  You are a precious little angel . . .

no, not an angel . . .
