| ...deja vu...
it's been posted before but there's no other way else to explain the
situation better which millions of women are going through this very
second. i am completely and utterly lost in the very same predicament.
why is this always so hard?
HOW MANY TIMES Are you gonna apologize about the same thing And how many times can I TAKE YOU BACK When I'm not the one that's doin' wrong (When I'm not the one that's doin' wrong, yeah) I thought, maybe, if I started prayin' Then we would get better, but When I would pray, the answer would always come Back to me, bein' done But we're so hard-headed When WE'RE IN LOVE
So I...
[chorus] I told myself, that I would make some changes But the more I change There's one thing that remains the same I can't seem to shake ya You seem to really have a HOLD ON ME
And everytime that we break up We turn around and make up This can't go on now I GOTTA MOVE ON now It's not the fact that I don't love you no more But, I gotta break this bad habit Can't take this BAD HABIT no more
I'm totally out of my element Learnin' new ways to live While you're in a COMFORT ZONE Not even thinkin' (you couldn't think about me) to call And then, when I get mad, you buy me gifts Thinkin' it's gonna solve every issue
[chorus]
Let me bring it down Have you ever loved somebody So much, that you was just TOO BLIND to see Past all of the pain they was causin' you (causin' you) Ladies, do you feel me (do you feel me)
Have you ever loved somebody So much that you went against the right thing that you should do Oh, oh then it's time to make a CHANGE (time to make a change)
[chorus]
...thank you destiny's child...

After visitng Paris/Italy this summer, Shirl suggests going to a free
opera performance in Central Park. On Tuesday June 14, 2005 at 8
o'clock in the night, the Metropolitan Opera was performing Tosca by
Giacomo Puccini on the great lawn. I definitely had to go because:
1. when is anything ever free in the city? (i guess thats why there were 2000+ people)
2. visiting Italy made me obsessed with their language/culture even more
3. got to spend quality time with friends/cousin
4. going to start working soon so i'll never have free time to do this again
I spent the whole day running errands after going to Eckerds (your new
Pharmacy Technician at your service) to fill out the paperwork for my
new job.I was honestly very excited for the event. During the
performance, Peggy, Ingrid, and I (Shirl couldn't find parking
after work and gave up) sat on our blanket enjoying the beautiful songs
while we ate our bread/cheese, pasta, and cookies with our Chianti
Classico red wine. Afterwards, we hopped into a cab to head back to
Ingrid and Peggy's 2nd ave apt where we met up with Eric, got some
Dunkin Donuts iced coffee/ice cream, and then chilled in the sweltering
apartment for the rest of the night (only Peggy's room had AC). What a
great city experience!
