Ma!
Sometimes, I wonder where what my mom thinks when she's buying things or trying to tell someone something. For example, when you go to a Mediterranean restaurant, you sometimes get bread and yogurt. As she came back from the supermarket...
Me: Ma, why is there sour cream in the fridge?
Mom: It's for the bread.
Me: . . .what?
Mom: You know, when we get the bread and the sour cream at the restaurant..
Me: That's yogurt.
Mom: No, you're mistaken, I do not taste any yogurt.
Me: That's because you have vanilla or strawberry yogurt. That's plain yogurt!
Mom:...really?
Me: Yes!
Mom: No, Shinko, I've been to Turkey and Greece, it's sour cream.
Me: Mom, I don't think the Turks nor the Greeks would use sour cream! :Grabs gingerale: Geez, when you think it's white, what does mom think, Oh sour creaM!
Mom: Ah hah hah hah!
2nd example: Mom talking to the waiter for some chick pea soup..:she forgot the name of the soup:
Mom: Excuse me, may I have deeee......seuuup?
Waiter: The bean soup?
Mom: ohHhHh...no, the seup wee....de...uh......nutz!
Waiter: Nut soup?
Mom: Ya! with noodles!
Waiter: We don't have nut soup with noodles.
Mom: Aw really? It's no daily seup?
Waiter: That's the chick pea soup..
Mom: Ya, nut seup!
Waiter: Chick pea
Mom: Nut...
Waiter: Pea..
Mom: :Gives him confused look: Nuuuuuut?
Waiter: Chick peas.
Mom: Aw ok, I want seup.
:Waiter gives my mom soup:
Me: So, mom what kind of soup is that?
Mom: It's cashew seup. =D

Helllllloooo James Franco! =D
I haven't had those celebrity crushes since middle school. Oh, he's a honey.
He is the new Gucci model for their ad campaign. Check him out in Times Square. I couldn't stop staring at him....it's probably the suit, I love men and black on black suits.
In other news, saw my girl Margaret Cho at Radio City!
This woman is hiliarious. She is the reason why more Asian Americans are standing up. Big props to you Ms. Cho!
