| Dear God,
Every Sunday you leave me with a sword stuck in my heart. Not a knife..a sword. Your sword. It's about time I pull this sword out and use it to fight for Your glory. I am Your soldier..a foot in Your army. Yup, that's what I'm going to tell them at the gates. I stressed most of my life wondering what I could do to help. At last, You have helped me figure out my purpose.
No more kid & play, I am ready to rededicate my mind, body and future.

| FINALS WEEK = STRESSFUL BUT MEMORABLE. I LOVE YOU ALL. DON'T BE STRESSED, EVERYTHING GON BE ALRIGHT RIGHT?! RIGHT!
Pimp C- I'm Free In honor of the Pimp. I hear he died of natural causes..but what exactly is natural about dying at 33? You're not supposed to die. This really shaded my sunshine this week.
Ennio Morricone- Gabriel's Oboe (From the film: The Mission) I picked up the oboe a week after I watched this film. It's beautiful.
Rhymefest ft. Citizen Cope- Bullet Don't stand in front of the target.
Bing Crosby- I'll Be Home For Christmas One of my favorite Christmas songs. Only when Bing sings it though.
M-Flo ft. Dragon Ash- Way You Move I've been feeling kinda blue lately, thinking just maybe. I should ask one more time. Come home come home come home today

| Clap your hands, all you nations; shout to God with cries of joy!
Clap clap clap. So last week was Thanksgiving break. As I was cooking the bird, I was wondering why I was celebrating this holiday. Why did I stuff significant amounts of food into my mouth each year? What tribe did these Indians belong to?
So I went on the internet....
and got distracted by CNN. I still don't know. You should educate me if you do. haha
Anyways... life is great! Let me drop some gems:
Saigon- Wake Up Saigon..just announced that he "quit" rapping. You might have seen him on Entourage. A shame, he was on a mission to uplift the community. Hear the song.
Simple Plan- Welcome To My Life A song I rotated during my junior year of high school. Welcome to my life!
Himuki feat. Sene- Hold On Himuki's a dope Japanese producer. In this song, he linked up with the Brooklyn native Sene- I've been on him for a couple of years.. Dude's real smooth. Hear the 2nd verse of this song, it really punches you in the gut. That's love! haha
and finally, sampling is such a crucial aspect of hip-hop. I believe it's an art in itself. Compare these two songs.
Bobby Caldwell- Open Your Eyes Common- The Light
Magic aint it?

| From Wikipedia:
Pierrot Pierrot is a stock character of mime and Commedia dell'Arte, a French variant of the Italian Pedrolino. His character is that of the sad clown, pining for love of Columbine, who inevitably breaks his heart and leaves him for Harlequin. He is usually depicted wearing a loose, white tunic. The noticeable feature of Pierrot's behaviour is his naïveté, he is seen as a fool, always the butt of pranks, yet nonetheless trusting. Pierrot is also portrayed as moonstruck, distant and oblivious to reality.
Pierrot was in my dream yesterday night. I was reading about operas for Music 15 earlier on in the day. It made me wonder how many people might have frowns hidden in their smiles.
Anyways, I got my external back. Here's some dope music:
Nell- Selfish Love
The Beatles- Blackbird
Dragon Ash- Grateful Days
Psalm 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. | | |
