| Well, a lot of things have been going on lately. This past week has been crammed full of things to go to, classes, homework, and my own thoughts constantly going through my head. Ok, that last part was a little weird, let me explain. I have been going through quite a lot of change this past week, so I have been in deep thought and have gone through so many different emotions that I don't know what to do with. But I will be ok, the changes I have been going through are good and I know they are in God's good and perfect will for me.
Lets see, highlights of the past two weeks have definitely been Iris spending 3 days in Charlotte, and spending time with Chris . Iris and I had an absolute blast during her visit. On Wednesday, we went to uptown Charlotte, and got our nails done. Then, much to her surprise I treated her to a Cheesecake Factory dinner for her 18th birthday.  Then we got lost in Charlotte and took about an hour or so finding our way back to campus. When we got back to my room I surprised her with a surprise party, she opened her present( a build-a-bunny) and we ate cookie cake.
Then on Thursday, we had lunch on campus, I went to classes, then we spent the rest of the afternoon at Concord Mills. It was so much fun. Friday, we develped pictures at Wal-mart and then got lunch at Applebees. Then, she went home .
Over the weekend, Chris and I went to Steak and Shake and talked for an hour and a half! Then, we went to Concord Mills and Target. After that, it was 8pm, we were both exausted, and decided to make it an early night. Then, on Saturday we went to a home game and then a movie night with Impact(one of the campus ministries we both go to). It was alot of fun. We always have so much fun together.
Well, thats basically the past week in a nutshell. Besides, I am sick of typing!!

| Ok, so I havent posted in 16 days, yeah its about time for an update.
Well, I have been back at school for a week, and it is so good to be back. I had an awesome break at home, but I was ready to get back to Charlotte. Right now I have a case of the " I really should be in bed, but I'm not tireds"
This past week I have realized how great my friends are and how blessed I am. I think I realized how much my friends in Charlotte mean to me when I was away for three weeks and couldn't wait to get back and see them again. I love you guys .
Anyways, tonight was an awesome night. First of all, Chris came over and made me a delicious dinner. He brought all the food over and we ate up in the common room. Oh it was soo good. Then, we decided to play Jenga. We went downstairs and asked Cheryl and Hannah to play with us. We had soooo much fun, we played Jenga, Cards, and spoons until 11:15 when I realized Chris was illegal (being in our hall after 11, oops!!).
Well, I should probably run, being that it is 1:20 and the alarm is going off at 8 am.

| HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!
I cannot believe it is already 2006!
As I was bringing in the new year about an hour ago, I was thinking about this past year. For me, so much happened in 2005. My life is completely different from a year ago. In 2005, I decided on where I would go to college, graduated highschool, moved away from all of my firends and family and started my college career. Can all of that really happen in just one short year? Life goes by so quickly, and as I get older time seems to become faster and faster. But I will always remember 2005. | | |
| Alright, I need to write a new post. I am home!!!!!! I thought it would never come. But I survived the first semester of college, exams and all.
So far my break has been great. Well, except for the part where I got food poisoning and was up all night thowing up with a fever. Not cool at all. I am so glad I was sick at home though, at home I have a Mommy to take care of me.
Anyways, I have finally gotten in the Christmas mood. I am at home with a Christmas tree and decorations, I have a car so I can Christmas shop, and I am with my family. It just didnt feel like Christmas in a stinky suite basement. I love bein home. But I do miss my UNCC girls, and yeah and I guess the guys also.
I got to work afterschool on Wednesday! I loved getting to see some of my old kids from my huddle! At one point I had three of them all jumping on me! I had alot of fun. I was so excited about it. I could'nt believe it, last year there were times that it would be such a drag to go to work.
Today I went to our annual class christmas party and got to see the good ole' Senior class of '05. (I know there is a new senior class now, but in my mind we will always be the seniors!!) That was cool, we watched our senior trip video which was an hour and a half long!!
Then I went to Iris' and we made home made pizza and watched "Shall we dance?" It was such a cute movie. It made me want a husband. Forget the whole dating thing, I just want to wake up one day and God give me a guy and say "Here is the man of your dreams, marry him." Oh well, life is not that easy.
Well, thats it for now.

| Alrighty, I usually don't do these kind of things but this one is fun. In the past two weeks, I've been tagged twice, so I guess I should finally write five random things about myself. I'll try to make em interesting.
1. When I was born, my head was so big the doctors thought I had fluid on the brain. But after tests and cat scans, turns out there was nothing wrong with me, I just had a huge head.(hence my parent's nickname for me:Tweety Bird)
2. I once had a pet duck named Fluffy.
3. My first accident(and only one, thank you very much) involved a parked car. Oh but it gets better!! That car just happened to be my principal's!!!
4.I absolutely love cheerleading, but I can't jump or tumble worth a flip!!(no pun intended)
5. When I was born, my eyes were crossed, so I had to have eye surgery at age 1 and wear glasses. So yeah, I have been wearing corrective lenses all my life!
