| a long deserved letterHey there everyone..
its been a while since i have talked to anyone!
how is everyone doing?
Cameron.. how was your trip?
How was everyones trip to Taize?
yicks... its been a while...
Me? Im doing good. School is crazy. Im now the President of a student
chapter called American Society of Interior Designers. This is a big
deal for me because its a great way to get to know professionals and in
the long run get a great job. Its hard because its a lot of work and
that is being added onto taking 6 class every quarter (roughly 19
credits?) Sometimes it crazy...but for the most part im doing good. Im
finishing up my summer quarter, so now i only have a year left of
school! wowzer. Next quarter i start looking for a internship. I have
decided that im going to go for a degree in Restoration as well as my
masters in Interior Design. Soo all together i have about another 3 or
4 years of school. Depending on if i find a school that goes all year
round, i might even be done in 2 or 3 years. I guess we'll see...
Life in pittsburgh is going good too. Im working in the doubletree
hotel, so therefore.. that means you can come see me now and i can get
you a cheap room! lol My friends are great. Im still living with
the same roommates(3), and we are still in the same apartment. My one
roommate is getting married in March sooo im having a great time helping
her plan everything! Im so happy for her! My boyfriend and I had a
rocky summer, but with a lof of communication we figured things out and
are just taking a day at a time.
My family is doing good. my brother is starting his jr year of
highschool, and mom and andy are living with my grandparents. This is a
good thing for them because then they can help each other out more.
Yes.. they drive each other crazy once in a while, but overall its good
for them. My grandma had a quad bi pass heart surgery this last spring.
So that was quite a scare. You will be happy to know that she is doing
much better and to say the least loves life more.
I recently turned 21 and my birthday consisted of going out to a family
friend owned bar with my mom and a bunch of family friends. Here is a
picture. Me, my mom and a about 10 other 60 year old women. HAHA it was
a blast!!! Other than that i really haven't made it out to the bar
scene.. im too busy with school, work, ASID, and life in general.
You'll be happy to know that things with my dad are going great. I
actually spent some more time in oklahoma over the summer. It has been
a really great year in a half getting to know him. It has not only
pulled us closer together, but it has really helped me with a lot. For
so long i was living with a empty spot and anger, but now that we have
worked things out, my life seems that much brighter. I thank god for
him every day.

well i suppose i'll stop talking for now.. this whole blog was to let

there is a open window within my sight.
As im running i start to notice just how far away it is.
I start to lose my breath, but push myself to ignore how fast my heart is beating.
How much longer will it take? I can see it! is it days, weeks, miles, or steps? how many more running shoes must i scronge up for to embrace the entrance to slight happiness?
My feet are gaining blistters and my heart is gaining pounds.
As i find myself starting to jog i yell and cry and spit in my face.
"MOVE!" i say!

isn't anyone trying to find me? im trying to figure out this life. Cause nothings going right, and everythings a mess. why is everything so confusing? I dont want to fall to pieces.
