| Gosh I hate jetlag. This is my 4th day and I'm still dying at night. Went to a fellowship meeting last night and I was fishing throughout....so ng ho yee see.
If anyone knows any college fellowship around SF/Fremont area (preferred with HK ppl), please let me know. Thanks! I really need to meet people around my age.
So jetlagging. I'm going to bed again. It's 8pm here in Cali.

| Attitudes to doing good businessesOn a brighter note, I guess in this past
month in HK I have observed more about how people do businesses. Like
just how salespeople or waiters treat their customers (from days of
spending in Wanchai looking at bathroom and kitchen tiles with Mom /
clothing stores / restaurants). These are some tips that uncles and
aunties have advised me to especially pay attention to as I go into
business, and with some of mine too:
1) Never judge on your customer. (like whether he is able to afford your products)
2) Never make promises on things that you cannot deliver.
3) Always be on time for meetings.
4) Your good attitude really counts to sell your product. You're not just delivering your product, but your whole service to build a lasting impression. Always pay respect.
Anything else to add? Let me know.

| leaving so soon....真不捨得I've been back home for almost 6 weeks and I have to leave again. I've been shopping for clothes and all sorts of necessary stuff (indeed necessary) with Mom these few days. Mom can be quite picky about me sometimes, but then she is like all mothers who care about their children more than themselves. Just as we're shopping for casual clothes on 花園街 (oh yes I can actually find plenty of quality and cheap Tshirts there), she tries her hardest to look for what I like (or more like, what she thinks I like). I do appreciate her efforts. I know really don't deserve what she does for me, yet God is just so gracious to hand me a cute caring (yet often really woo-lung) mother like my Mom.
HK is my home. Yet no matter how much I miss it, it is but a temporary place that we stay on earth. Think about it, can anyone ever stay forever comfortably in one place, without knowing there is a better place somewhere else? How long is a lifetime? The Bible says around 70 years, the stronger 80. Life just passes at the blink of an eye. Shouldn't we all put our hopes and efforts to build our treasures in God's kingdom, so we can enjoy them in eternity?
God, I commit myself to You again. Please help me to leave my sins, to commit a life that's worthy for You, and show me my place in Your kingdom.

| 病了昨天腸胃炎。Thanks to the 2 tiny pieces of foie gras from Monday's lunch.
Never been this sick, seriously. Here's what happened:
6/6 Woke up at 6 from itches on my body (stupid me forgot to change to a new Tshirt....irritation) Back to bed at 8, slept till 10 Diarrheas, multiple times
I was so drowsy at one point I felt my hearing was gone. Supposed the temperature was around 30C yesterday, yet I had to turn off air-con and wrap myself in my comforter, and still shivered. I couldn't even get out of my bed to get water. Glad that my Mom was around or I would have gone dehydrated and died already.
6/7 Only slept for 4 hours since I slept for the whole day the day before. Woke up at 6 to have 2 diarrheas. Back to bed at 10:30-2, woke up feeling much better. Clearing my body out.
I've never been this sick before....maybe just that last time (2-3 years ago?) when I got dehydrated from skiing and I had allergies all over.
I'm almost recovered now. Keep me in your prayers please.
Moral of the story: 1.『病從口入 慎防中毒』 2. drink plenty of water 3. watch out for HK's hot weather and cold indoors!
